Chipotle

Notes
"If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

The communication was really challenging at this Chipotle, and everything was very dirty. The glass in front of the food was filthy, as we're all the tables and seats. The forks were out of stock, and it was just way below the level of cleanliness and service we are used to from Chipotle!

First attempt at being gluten free. The server changed gloves and used fresh cheese so as not to touch the cheese that had been touched by previous gloves. They completely exceeded my expectations

This was a exceptional Chipotle. I mentioned I had a wheat allergy and they without question changed gloves, serving spoons, and even pulled out a separate cheese and lettuce supply. They even took the time to wipe down the counter to prevent any sort of cross contamination!

Most of Chipotle's menu items are gluten free (except for tortillas). The person making my bowl changed gloves before starting to prep my burrito bowl. I was able to have the beans, beef, pork, salsa, and corn. Basically everything is gluten free except for the tortillas.

As soon as I said GF, the cook changed his gloves, got a new bowl, and asked which of the serving utensils should be exchanged for newly washed. Except the tortillas (of course) all options are GF. I've never gotten sick eating here. I gave it 4 stars only because it's a chain/fast food. Enjoy!

Only thing on the menu that is not gluten free are the flour tortillas. Hard tacos or burrito bowls are gf. Corn chips are good. When ordering need to tell first person behind the counter you have to eat gluten free. My experience is that one person will wash hands, put on clean gloves, and make my food from start to finish rather than passing it down the assembly line.

I go here frequently and never have symptoms anymore. I used to have symptoms because I love the corn salsa, but since finding out it's most likely contaminated per their website I stopped using it and noticed vast improvement. I also do not bother with the corn tortillas or chips due to same issue.

Incredibly impressed! My husband has a wheat and dairy intolerance and he had heard great things about Chipotle. He walked up and told them about his intolerance. The worker told the the other workers. He then removed all serving utensils from the area, washed the counter thoroughly, and changed his gloves. Then made my husband's GF/DF bowl. We will definitely be coming back again!
