They will change gloves and spoons. Order a bowl so there’s no tortilla, and chips are also gluten free.

After reading reviews of the safety precautions They take I chose to try them out. I watched him make burritos for the people in front of me. The utensils were touching the wrap. When I told him we had a celiac in our group he washed his hands and changed gloves and got out fresh containers of lettuce and cheese but then was about to scoop the meat with the spoon that was just touching the wrap and from the same container. When I asked him to use clean items he said they don't have extra serving spoons and don't have extra containers of anything but the lettuce and cheese. My boys and I left without eating there.

Best experience at a Chipotle. Tell them you have Celiac disease / gluten allergy and ask them to wash hands, change spoons, and use fresh ingredients.
On our two visits here they were very knowledgeable. You may get less experienced employees, but in general they were very good compared to other Chipotles

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
If u tell them that u have celiac disease then that will wash their hands ,change their gloves, and change the spoons. I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to their food. They r allergy friendly I recommend coming here.ππ»π½

Chipotle is always good, but go somewhere local, you'll feel better knowing you're supporting a hard working family based foundation vs a corrupt CEO's 10th summer house!
Ordered a burrito bowl with rice, chicken and salsa - very tasty as always and this is a great alternative. A lot of mexican food is naturally gf so its easy to go here and not worry about cross contamination
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
