I would give zero stars for this location, if possible. Both my daughter and I can't eat gluten. Chipotle has always been a safe place. However, this location clearly doesn't provide training to all of their employees regarding gluten-free food prep. We tried to order food, but the employee refused to change gloves and/or wash hands. I thought she couldn't hear me, but realized she could and had no idea what to do. We left without food.
No
Always good options, although there is a chance of cross contamination in certain toppings even if the server changes their gloves. Some items like lettuce and cheese are served by hand (instead of scooped with dedicated spoons) so if someone earlier in the day ordered a flour tortilla and the server touched the tortilla and also the cheese/lettuce there could be remnants of gluten on those toppings.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
As usual, one can get a safe meal here, and everything is safe except the for the flour tortillas. Staff could use training: I would prefer not to interrupt my order to explain that, indeed, flour tortillas contain wheat (or worse, to be argued with about it). Regardless I did get her to change her gloves and walk me down the food line.
Yes
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
