Excellent. You order at the counter. Had the dosa macadamia cheese quesadilla. Also had the lemon pie.

Love it here. So peaceful in the garden patio and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the avacado toast with macadamia cheese and a mango llaso!!! The best I’ve ever had!

I really loved this place and I went two days in a row to try different drinks and deserts. Everything is gluten free and the vibe is good. It can get really busy and is a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm over spring break. I'd highly recomend this place for those who are looking for gluten free nutritious food!

Tutto, ma proprio tutto, GLUTEN FREE! Bowls, burritos, enchiladas, pancakes, dolci! Wowwwww

I got a burrito and it was okay. Brownie was good. It was nice to eat in the back garden, and they have lots of space. It's definitely a hub for new age sprituality if the multiple conversations I overhead are anything to go off, but more importantly the food was good, filling, and SAFE.

Cool vibe. Enjoyed the food. The backyard dining area was tranquil - make sure you head back there to eat

I absolutely LOVE this place. Amazing food. Healthy and delicious. I eat here often when I visit. It is vegetarian with vegan options. There's items available to grab and go too.

Such a cool, laid-back environment. Good food, service is pretty casual, but they’re careful about being Celiac safe (other allergies too). The avocado toast was excellent! Beautiful back garden.

My husband (non celiac) enjoyed his burrito but my marg pizza came back as gluten found from Nima. I had a feeling before I tasted it, listen to your gut lol

If you’re in Sedona and you have Celiac, this is a must-try place! We went for lunch and sat outside in the garden, which was lovely. Our kids, who have Celiac, had the cheese quesadilla and ate safely here. It was delicious! The Coconut Dahl and avocado toast were also super tasty. Great vibe here and definitely seemed like a place where locals eat too. All gluten free so no need to be worried about cross-contamination. Would love to go again!

Pure awesomeness! We had the buckwheat pancakes with fruit and they were divine. I greatly recommend eating in the gorgeous garden

Love this place! Always stop in when visiting Sedona. I appreciate amazing food that is nutritious and this place checks both of those. All GF, lots of vegan options too. Dosa quesadillas are tasty and the chocolates are amazing- the vanilla smoked sea salt was my favorite. The DF mango lassi was a nice treat too!

Amazing organic GF establishment. Relaxing atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food is homemade with local and in season ingredients. Solid choice if you love to eat healthy.

It’s always so special when I find a place that is totally gf. My family and I went here (I’m the only celiac) and everyone enjoyed their meal. There are lots of meals that are also vegan but I asked them to add cheese to my vegan enchilada and it was incredible. So tasty and no issues with my meal afterward! 10/10 would go again

Absolutely loved this place, the dosa quesadilla was extremely interesting since I don’t think I’ve ever had something that tasted like that and I absolutely loved it. It’s kind of like Spanish-Indian fusion food with the flavors and spices they use, I was really digging it

Agree with many other reviewers: Expensive, small portions, less than stellar service, interesting vibes. Despite all that I did have a good experience here. One of the salads comes with sprouts which isn’t listed on the menu. I was 7 months pregnant when I ate here (that’s, like, very obviously pregnant if you’re not aware) so I was a little annoyed I didn’t get a warning about the sprouts when ordering (pregnant people can’t eat sprouts and I did disclose that I was pregnant). They were able to accommodate the gluten contamination elimination diet when I ate here.
Yes
Definitely an experience. Gorgeous garden and ambiance but a little too pricey. Horrible wait (40 min) but good quesadillas and veggie burger.
Yes
yum! interesting, delicious, healthful, toally celiac safe. we came just for dessert and the ambiance of the garden.
Yes
Delicious food. Gluten free restaurant. Ate here twice and loved it.
The food here is a toss up. It’s a pretentious hippy place where all the food is “live”. The spring roll was literally just sprouts, carrots, cabbage in a “curry wrap”. The onion flat bread burned my mouth, too much onion, but it was my only choice for the herb sandwich without paying more. The waffle was bland (they ran out of maple syrup), knife was dirty, menu hard to read. Small portions for high price. Didn’t even try the desserts because of the alternative ingredients. If you’re super healthy and into this stuff, I’m sure you’d love this place. As someone who is gf not by choice, all I want is gf food that doesn’t taste gf and to be treated like a normal person.
Yes
Incredibly attentive staff and wonderful service. The hot drinks we had were delicious and the spring roll and palak paneer and spinach pancakes were good. Portions are small, but we ordered 3 entrees for two people plus hot drinks and had no room for desert. We got it to go. The verdict on the deserts: they weren’t to my liking. Too sweet and too dense as vegan deserts often are.
Yes
Great food, everything is gluten-free and plenty of GF vegan options. Service is okay so don't expect a lot but the food was great and a good place to shop for Pantry items.
I really wanted to like this place and the food was good, but it is moderately priced for tiny portions and very poor service for the restaurant customers. I ordered the Palak Uttapam Entree ($12). It came out with three tiny pancakes (3” is a generous estimate) and “Mellon-ball” size of delicious red pepper chutney. That was it. I devoured it in about 6 bites and was still starving! My husband ordered the avocado herb sandwich ($12 for a full). It was decent size, mostly sprouts, a few small slices of avocado, and flatbread. It was good, but I ate half of his and was still hungry. I had the Double Chocolate Ganache for dessert which was fantastically mostly filled me up. The food was very tasty, completely GF, but nowhere near enough for the prices. When I asked about the small amount of food I received, the waitress said it was because they were out of the mashed potatoes that normally came with my meal. After prompting, she offered a side of sweet potatoes in replacement. We waited before, during, and after our meal for service when the restaurant was not very busy. If you go here, plan on ordering double of what you would elsewhere. We ended up going home and eating snacks we had brought for our trip.

We have been coming to ChocolaTree for several years. Last night was our best dinner at this Vegan & Gluten Free restaurant. Food is outstanding and service is perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant! Sue & Greg

Clean and delicious food, eaten in the shady garden. Doesn't need to get any better than this...

Very good food but a little expensive

Had the gluten free coconut cream pie. It was overpriced, and not good. The consistency was dense. Also, I have Celiac Disease and after I ate the pie, my tummy was upset.
Phenomenal with new ways of eating live and fresh food.

If you are looking for Gluten Free, best to go somewhere else. This is a earthy place.

We went in for a post-RED ROCK tour treat. And boy did we get a treat! Service was super friendly and super patient. (My kids were ordering pieces of chocolate in Rapid-fire fashion and the server was super helpful). If you like dark chocolates, like i do, this is your place for sure.
We didn't have any "food" just the chocolates and donuts. A great find. Good value.
Yes
Ate there twice and the food was amazing both times. The whole place is completely vegetarian, organic and gluten free so you can get anything on the menu. The waffle was scrumptious as well as the alvacado herb sandwich.

Incredible food if you are health focused! Very tasty and very clean! My fiancé and I have been in Sedona for a few days and this is the best we have felt after eating somewhere! Nothing bad for you, no preservatives or nasty chemicals. I had the buckwheat waffles with coconut cream, macadamia butter, maple and chocolate syrups. Best and fluffiest gluten free waffles I've ever had (reminiscent of Belgium waffles). My fiancé had the veggie burger with guacamole added and it was so fresh tasting you would think that they made everything from a garden right before they served it!
Yes
I only ate here for breakfast, but supposedly everything on the menu is gluten free. I had the GF waffles with coconut creme topping and "real chocolate milk". Both were...non-traditional, but pretty good. I deducted a star because like most hippie-run restaurants the service is quite slow. Also they did not have any decaf coffee, which I thought was odd.
Yes
The only reason this place is getting 3 stars from me is that the food was pretty good. the service however was horrible. nice people but the don't know how to run an efficient restaurant. we were not the only table that waited a long time for service and food but somehow those that came in after us got served before us. very busy place and food was good. big plus was that I had my choice of the entire menu as everything is gluten free!
Yes
Little hippie haven. Vegan/gf with a lot of raw. Lost a star only because the presence of almonds everywhere was limiting (allergy).
We loved this place. We eat vegan and gluten free and I can't remember having more than a couple of items to choose from on a menu ... until I came here. This place had a whole menu full of great things to choose from. Unique, delicious, healthy food.
Yes
Omg! Keep in mind they are vegetarian, but the Sedona is amazing and flavorful. As is the hummus!!! And the bread is dry but pretty yummy with the olive oil and if you order hummus to go with... Perfection! Make sure you get the chocolate ganash dish which is only sweetened with dates and such. Very sugar free friend and no gmos or dairy and it's organic!

Incredible! Great atmosphere! Holly sang me a unique birthday song in her hauntingly, beautiful, genuinely loving, voice. The tiramisu was the best bday cake ever. The mushroom fantasy.......speachless! We were hearing rave reviews all around us. The chocolate chip cookie was not a stand out for us, and according to staff you love it or just leave it. Oh my gosh......how could I forget the spring rolls with coconut cream curry dipping sauce. Blissful! The dehydrated tomatoe wrap was such a great vehicle for this tantalizing and awe inspiring dish. A dont miss! They also offer online store and shipping and when I get home Im going to check it out. We will be back this trip!

Food was good but chocolate was expensive and just OK. Nice atmosphere
