Wonderful. Love a good buckwheat crepe!! Notify them if you are celiac and they will take extra care to prevent cross contamination.

Although this place does gluten free savoury pancakes, I wouldn’t go if coeliac. They use the same plates for all. Thankfully I went in the morning and they hadn’t done any wheat ones yet. But I wouldn’t go back again.

These crepes are magnificent, and the owner is a gem. All savory crepes are made with buckwheat; sweet dessert crepes are made with whole wheat. When I told the owner I had Celiac he went to great lengths to explain their cleaning procedures and ensure I was comfortable. It was the best gluten free dining I had when visiting New Haven, and I wish I could return more regularly!
