I’ve been going here for many years. Sometimes I might come home feeling a little off, which I attribute to slight cross-contamination, but never really sick. So I’m not sure if it’s a gluten issue or something else. I use GliadinX whenever I eat here now, just to be safe. One point: I’ve found that food has been more iffy when I order during a movie than before the lights go down. Maybe I don’t speak loudly enough for them to hear I have celiac, I’m not certain. I do wish they’d stop referring to celiac as an allergy, though. An autoimmune disease isn’t an allergy.

I had a wonderful experience at this Chunky’s location. They have their own fryer for fried gluten free foods and a separate space in the kitchen. I was there for a kids’ birthday party and the server was very knowledgeable about the GF protocols. I was bummed that they were out of their GF chicken fingers, but I got the nachos instead and they didn’t disappoint! (Oh, and I asked- the tortilla chips were also fried in the separate fryer.) I am also super sensitive and didn’t get sick!

So just went. Separate menu, which is cool. But beware when they deliver. The kid that delivered plopped the full gluten burger in front of me, which I do miss gluten so much but didn’t feel like dealing with sickness for days. Eventually after a solid 5 minutes he comes back and says he put it in front of husband. So at this point the GF bun, which is not toasted, is soggy and falling apart. It wasn’t horrible. They did have other options too, I just wanted a burger.
Now the test comes. Stomach is bothering me a little about an hour after we ate. Hoping it’s just the grease
We go to Chunky's a lot, they typically have good service and food. The food is a bit expensive for what you get and it can be inconsistent on portions. Be advised, eventually Chunky's will mess up your gluten free order because masses of youngsters are running your food. They contaminated my wife. When this happens it makes celiacs sick and miserable for a day or more. We called and spoke to management about it and never got the promised callback. Beware...

This location closed around the summer of 2018. I believe the one in Nashua is still in business.
I would have given 4 stars if they had more GF options. They have a separate fryer for fries and chicken tenders. I have eaten here 2x now with no problem.
Had a fantastic waitress who was familiar with Celiac Disease (I think her name was Caitlin), she went to the kitchen to make sure the dedicated fryer was used and gloves were changed for my meal! So great to have waitstaff who truly care!
