Avoid Chuy’s altogether if you have Celiac or a strong sensitivity to gluten. There is virtually nothing on their menu that is safe. The staff is clueless. I’ve heard anecdotal reports of kitchen staff and management virtually turning away anyone in need of a GF meal. I personally ordered the one item on the menu that the server indicated was GF, that looked to me most likely to be GF. I took some gluten-digesting enzymes with it to try and be safe, and I still got sick. Needless to say, I can’t imagine I’ll ever be going again.
