Visited Citizen Cider on a trip through Vermont. I loved the fact that there was lots to choose from on the menu. We were able to confirm everything was GF and everyone felt super knowledgeable and accommodating. Key point, did not get sick!

Only downfall was their dessert. I guess they just launched dessert today. I had the GF chocolate flourless cake and everything about it was just off. Texture and taste was weird… having made it before I could recognize something wasn’t right. I mentioned it to the server more as feedback since it was the launch and he was great and discounted the bill.

Overall, very happy and would return!

Trendy venue with flights of hard ciders and good bar food. Several gluten free options for food. Most, if not all ciders were gluten free. Korean tacos were delicious!

My celiac daughter had the wings and a burger. The staff was helpful and careful. She enjoyed it all and had no issues.

So, I’m not gluten free but my partner is celiac. so I don’t eat gluten at home and I am very cautious about gluten free while eating out. I was excited about the reviews for this place, but we did not receive a gluten free bun for our order I was very disappointed. The staff apologized but I don’t think they were careful enough about taking our order. We notified them when we placed our order that we wanted each item gluten free, but later on they stated that they did not realize that “we would be sharing food”. Again, my partner had a bite of the regular bun and I also thought the texture was off. If you eat at Citizen Cider I would suggest you do so cautiously and double confirm your order. Otherwise the food and drinks were good and could be a quite enjoyable experience for someone without any food allergies or specific dietary needs.

All of the ciders are GF and almost everything on the menu is GF; they have a dedicated fryer too. We throughly enjoyed two cider flights, the curry pumpkin soup special, sliders, and french fries. Everything was delicious, really hit the spot! Our server was very knowledgeable about Celiac.

Was really looking forward to trying poutine. Unfortunately, it came out smothered in cold gravy. Wings were OK. In terms of gluten safety, we were satisfied.

Really liked this place. The waiter was so kind and knowledgeable and even went back to the chef to double check some marked items. Had a bit of everything: the poutine fries, onion rings, fresh made potato chips, chicken wings, cheeseburger on a gluten free bun, and a cider flight. A fan of it all.

Great place for Celiac diners! All of the food is gluten free except for the pretzels. All of the ciders are gluten tree too. The waitress and kitchen were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cross contamination. The fryer only friend GF so fries and onion rings were no problem. We had wings, poutine and cauliflower wings…. All delicious! We highly recommend! No one got sick and we have very sensitive Celiac.

I had a burger with GF bun and homemade potato chips that were excellent. The wings were amazing as an appetizer, and as the cider is GF, there are plenty of flavors to try in different “flight” combinations. I highly recommend.

Awesome gf and vegan options. They have a dedicated gf fryer. We tried the onion rings, beet burger (with gf/vegan bun and vegan aioli) and fries. Everything was delicious!

Very much enjoyed the dry rub wings and a burger. Loved that they had GF onion rings and the salad was very fresh. Topped off with a GF sparking cider. Can't wait to go back again.

A must visit for good pub food and amazing cider. Gluten free poutine! We went back before we left Burlington to buy some bottles to take home with us. They had some really unique limited ciders we can't find at home.

What's not to love about this place? Their menu is very clear about what's gluten-free, what can be made gluten free, and what's not! Accompanied by amazing naturally gluten-free cider, their dishes surpass the mediocrity that most bar food usually achieves!

Amazing food and cider!! The waiter double-checked with the kitchen to make sure everything was safe. I had the gf poutine and the Reuben with a gf bun and they were sooo good. Can’t wait to go back. Did not get glutened.

Cider and food are awesome. I have liked their ciders for a while, so I was excited to go there and try a bunch that you can't normally get. As a bonus, they even have a dedicated fryer!

Awesome ciders including a number that can't be bought in stores. Dedicated GF fryer that made some delicious dry rub wings and GF poutine! Got to have poutine for the first time in my life, so I was pretty excited.

For whatever reason, this was not my favorite cider. I did a flight and wasn’t a fan of really any of them but the dirty mayor and classic were decent. Overall staff was great. I did not try any food.

GF food is not anything to write home about. But the cider is DELISH!

Oh my yes! This place is a dream come true. Some of the best cider on the planet, mixed with some of the best food. Waitress was knowledgeable, food is clearly marked on menu, I don't think a single gluten thing goes into the fryers. Burger was killer! Roll broke down but that's my only complaint. I would follow up with questions but I think you will be pleasantly surprised that this place knows its stuff.

Went back again, menu changed slightly more gluten free options. Still spectacular.
