Had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. Went on a Tuesday and it wasn’t too busy, all good signs. Ordered food, had to wait for a while but that’s ok company was good. Ordered 2 gf meals and the burger came with a regular bun. Sent it back and explained please don’t just swap out the bun. After waiting for a while it was hard for 1 person to not have their meal. Then the new burger came and was barely cooked and the bun was still partially frozen. Being gf is hard enough, they just suffered through a gross meal and only ate a few bites. They did comp the burger but only after I complained. Bummer it didn’t live up to the reviews. Not sure I would trust it for gf.

Cons: waited forever to get in . Looks like Limited staff , empty tables but couldn’t get seated.

Pros: HUGE GF menu!! DEDICATED Fryer!!! Pleasant staff, knowledgeable in celiac . Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time, house made cole slaw was amazing (although its yellow) Felt bad for the staff, seemed overwhelmed and only a couple waitresses working their tail off. I definitely would recommend if you can handle the wait.

I'm super impressed! This is a new business in Durham and the food is great. The menu is clearly labelled with gluten free or vegan on dishes and substitution options are available to make most things gluten free or vegan as well. They have a dedicated fryer and the staff was knowledgable and checked with the kitchen when they weren't 100% sure.
