Do not eat here if you are a super sensitive celiac. I ordered the lobster roll with a gluten free bun and asked them about cross contamination. They said everything was okay, and yet I got symptoms within 10 minutes of eating.

Excellent experience. This time I had scallops with bacon jam, and it was delicious. My husband had a lobster roll that he loved. They offer a lot of GF options. I’ve never been disappointed.

Many items are marked GF on the menu. They had a GF bun. The order taker said that she wouldn’t trust that the fryer is dedicated because they “have kids working” there.

Asked if they have a dedicated fryer and they said that there were a lot of new people working and not to trust that it is safe. I went with the safest meal I could think of (burger on GF bun, corn on the cob, applesauce).

I am asymptomatic Celiac so I can’t say whether this place is safe. Rockland doesn’t have a ton of GF places but I wouldn’t recommend if you are really gluten sensitive. Sucks because their menu looks decent at first glance but this place isn’t that good when you continue digging.

Some of the best gf “Maine” fare you’ll find. I over eat every time I visit. Excellent!

Food is super good! There is no dedicated fryer. So keep an eye out and ask if you are celiac.

Most amazing gf clam chowder!!!

I got the lazy mans lobster and it was so good! They had gf rolls on the side which was great. I'm not sure if their fried food has separate fryers but the lobster dinner that I had seemed like a safe bet.

Delish! I had the gf fish cakes and lobster bisque.... soooo yummy. Oh and the cold slaw is to die for! They have everything marked on the menu. Yummy costal food with a harbor view!

Although this is a roadside "lobster shack" the food is fabulous. The woman who runs it took our order and when I asked about gluten issues she told me her sister is celiac and that they offered gf buns and rolls for the lobster roll. There is a lot to eat but nothing fried as it is all fried together. The lobster and lobster roll I had (two different visits) were amazing!!
