I’ve heard from many folks that this restaurant chain handles allergies and celiac disease with caution. I ordered dinner and an appetizer from the main bar and the bartender wasn’t familiar with celiac disease. I then requested he mark the order as a Gluten Allergy and directly speak with the chef. He immediately came back and stated the chef understood celiac and would ensure no cross contamination with the meal. Agree with most folks that the menu is limited for GF options. However, the green chile shrimp tacos, filet, and garlic mashed potatoes were all delicious. The atmosphere and buildings are historical and beautiful.

Very limited GF menu, when questioned was told it would be better to stay with labeled GF menu items since it can not be guaranteed otherwise, since kitchen is not gluten free. Very disappointed in this last visit. With smoke detectors going off every 20 seconds x5 it was definitely not the ambiance or nice time that we anticipated when reservation was made for a special occasion. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Wish there was more variety but the mainstays are good and safe, including a dedicated fryer for French fries. They even have gf bread for the table

On our first visit to Clyde’s at Willow Creek, the chef came to our table to ensure we knew our appetizer was not GF. He then offered to make a GF version of the calamari and it was fantastic! The chef discussed options before he went to cook and personally brought my dishes to me. Above and beyond service and the chef has his own fan club now as our entire family was very happy and impressed! I don’t know if that is the standard treatment as it was a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant wasn’t packed.
Staff takes allergies very serious, confirms ingredients, and more than once has come back to inform whether certain foods were celiac safe.
Yes
Friendly staff, very reassuring for my questions. No dedicated menu but lists GF pasta and bread as options. Fryer for French fries is dedicated!
Good variety of GF food. I really liked the Chicken #1 burger and their GF bun.

Best GF restaurant experience I’ve ever had! GF items marked on the menu, service staff asked about any allergies before I even said anything, he confirmed with the chef that they would avoid any cross contamination, and there were even separate food runners for my dish so it wouldn’t come in contact with anyone’s at my table. I had the meatloaf, and it was delicious!
