We eat here a couple times a month and have always had an excellent experience! Very knowledgeable staff, ability to tweak most dishes to be safe/GF. Great and fresh sushi!

Great, knowledgeable staff and clearly marked GF menu. My sushi and edamame were delicious! Even have GF soy sauce, which personally has been my favorite GF soy sauce yet! Totally recommend for people following a GF diet.

I didn’t love the sushi here. Only came with 4 pieces per roll which is unusual. Felt that I didn’t get much for what I paid for. They did ensure gluten free and got me gluten free soy sauce. Probably wouldn’t go again but in a pinch it works.

Did not get sick. Glad menu is labeled, but seems arbitrary, I.e. spicy salmon roll is listed as GF in a hand roll but not GF in a regular roll. Both rolls I got were just okay (blue crab, spicy tuna). Salmon nigiri was delicious. They brought a gf soy sauce bottle to the table which was comforting. Food was served very fast. I would’ve liked to order more sushi or let the waiter know my wine never came but didn’t see the waiter again till we were ready to leave.

Coco + Moss is a great option for gf sushi and bowls. The menu is marked for gf items, they do have gf soy sauce, and were also able to switch out a sauce for me as I am also allergic to ginger. We eat here often, the food is so fresh, and although I don’t get extensive options, I am able to dine here safely and enjoy eating out. Highly suggest reservations on weekends, it gets super busy.

Not good sushi. Spicy tuna roll was bland but doused in sriracha, which is odd. Crab was also bland/not good. They brought regular soy sauce to the table. Limited GF options overall. Spend your money elsewhere.

Food was ok and did not get sick. It’s your standard sushi bar. I was advised not to get anything fried, such as tempura, and no sauces. Got the cherry blossom roll and the blue crab roll as I was advised it was the only crab roll with real crab (not imitation, which contains gluten) They have GF soy, but it’s in unmarked separate containers, which made me a little nervous. Food was ok but no better than any other sushi bar, which I usually just bring my own soy sauce to. Found it odd that Philadelphia roll, which I always get and is just salmon, cream cheese and avocado, was not marked GF

The resturaunt was amazing with my order. I got the Philidelphia roll with GF soy sauce, probably Tamari. The menu is clearly labeled and the waitress will make sure the kitchen know that it is a gluten allergy. They let me know that this is very common for them. The masago is a hit or miss and depends on the specific shipment they get. Always ask.

I loved this place but got really sick afterwards :( I had the Philadelphia roll and edamame. I let them know I had an allergy. I wonder if they accidentally gave me the regular soy sauce? After looking at the rest of the comments I’m thinking it was an uncommon accident.

The waitress was very kind and considerate. As soon as I said I have celiac she said "oh that's no problem!" I got the spicy shrimp roll and rose roll, and a salad. I asked for spicy mayo and the waitress said she wanted to make sure it was gf--which it normally is bc it's just mayo and sriracha--but she came back and said it wasn't gf. Not sure why not and I didn't ask, but I really appreciates her triple checking everything. Lovely experience overall.

We shared three sets of rolls: spicy shrimp, a Philadelphia roll and rose roll. Unfortunately the two that were supposed to have different kinds of fish eggs didn’t come with them…I assume because they were not gluten free. Our server was young and nice and maybe new, as she was not very knowledgeable and didn’t tell us that would happen. However I told her I had gluten wheat/barley/rye allergy and she put it in as gf and I did not get sick. Everything tasted good especially the spicy shrimp and it was not that spicy. They gave us gf soy sauce, but since I didn’t see the bottle and the server got it I did not eat it. I have been burned at other restaurants that way so I never eat the soy sauce unless I see the bottle. Anyway did not get sick. I enjoyed it. I was not brave enough to try raw fish.

Grain bowl w pork was amazing. Menu makes it hard to know that most bowls Can be made GF(with adjustments). Had to skip the teriyaki sauce -subbed GF soy sauce. All ingredients fresh, flavors delicious and beautifully presented. Would go back.

Our waitress was wonderful and super friendly. Gluten free rolls are marked on the menu but she made sure to notify the kitchen to take extra precautions and also brought GF soy sauce. Felt very safe and didn’t get sick. Food was delicious.

Knowledgeable staff, I can’t have soy either and they didn’t seem phased at all. I got the 5 hand rolls and it was delicious! Very sensitive celiac and I had no reaction

Lots of GF options! The waitress was very knowledgeable and I felt quite comfortable with her. She told me she would have the chef clean his station to eliminate chances of cross contamination. The food took a while to prepare — GF and regular orders — but it was good!

We did take out. Ordered at the bar, prompt service. We got spicy shrimp rolls and rose roll. F*cling delicious. Gf soy sauce was no issue, they even asked if it was a severe allergy/celiac so that was nice. The bartender walked over to the sushi chefs and said this one is an allergy. Love that because I’m not relying on “notes” in a computer. Their drink menu is a little underwhelming but the sushi is so good. We may go back again before we leave Savannah.

The menu was clearly marked with gluten free options. It was busy, but the chef even came out to assure me what was safe. They even brought me gluten free soy sauce separately. Staff was nice, location was good. Overall, a great experience.

I had the chickpea rice bowl that was pretty good. I did not get sick afterward. They had vegetarian options for my friend, too. We got take out due to COVID. Food was ready when they said it would be and they were all friendly.

Absolutely amazing sushi. They clearly mark what rolls are gf and have gf soy sauce!!
Yes
Great sushi and GF soy sauce! Beautiful atmosphere!
Here is the thing, we ate here and had delicious sushi with gf soy sauce. We didn’t get sick. They had several gf options. I asked before hand if they could safely serve celiacs and they said yes.. I don’t know if it was the night we went but it seemed everyone around us was having issues with them getting their meals correct. I don’t know if they are new or just training new wait staff but that was disconcerting.
