I was so excited to be told that they had a dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips so I went ahead and ordered chips, salsa, and guacamole in addition to a couple tacos (grilled shrimp and chicken). It sure tasted good. Then…, 90 minutes later I started feeling super nauseous and then threw up my entire lunch. A clear sign I had been contaminated. Ended my outing early to return home where I called the restaurant and spoke with the manger. We agreed it was probably cross contamination in the so-called “dedicated fryer”. I’ve eaten out all over the world and this is only the 2nd time I’ve gotten sick from eating out, both times from contaminated fryers. Such a huge disappointment!
