I was so excited to be told that they had a dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips so I went ahead and ordered chips, salsa, and guacamole in addition to a couple tacos (grilled shrimp and chicken). It sure tasted good. Then…, 90 minutes later I started feeling super nauseous and then threw up my entire lunch. A clear sign I had been contaminated. Ended my outing early to return home where I called the restaurant and spoke with the manger. We agreed it was probably cross contamination in the so-called “dedicated fryer”. I’ve eaten out all over the world and this is only the 2nd time I’ve gotten sick from eating out, both times from contaminated fryers. Such a huge disappointment!

Como is one of my go-to's in town. I once contacted them on Instagram for some more info about their tacos and they informed me "the chips are house made and gluten free and in a dedicated fryer that is gluten-free and the (taco) tortillas are as well. However, they are cooked on the same Plancha as flour tortillas. The corn tortillas are cooked on the right, the flour on the left, but there is always a chance of cross-contamination in that regard. The fish is not gluten free, however, it can be grilled. The cauliflower is flash fried in the same fryer but if requested, we can use the same fryer as the chip for your allergies".

I think you can also order a burrito as a bowl, without the tortilla, but I haven't tried that yet, and it's not actually listed on the menu.

Everything here was great! I made sure to say i wanted my corn tortilla for my taco heated up separately because they also have flour tortillas. They only have a few vegan options but they are delicious!

We picked up takeout from COMO. Food was great, GF items are marked on the menu, and when we asked whether the chips were GF they said that they had a dedicated fryer (woohoo!). Great Mexican food, interesting options (first salad I’ve had with dates as an ingredient - soo good!), and excellent guacamole. We’ll definitely be eating here again.

Almost the entire menu is gluten free. Everything is handmade and delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free. Dedicated fryer. We plan to visit again soon, it was so good!

Food was good. While much of menu is gluten free, overall it was not very clean and not completely confident the kitchen kept the gluten tortillas separate like they say. Celiac son and myself ordered out food bowl style to avoid tortillas.

The shrimp tacos were delicious! Staff seemed aware of gf and celiac needs. And I didn't get sick :) we'll be returning in the future!

Delicious! We has the shrimp tacos, chips and salsa and a side of black beans. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos. Things are clearly marked GF on the menu. Chips have a dedicated fryer. As previously stated, you do order on your phone but the server was very friendly and available to answer questions. We went early and the food came out quickly. I felt absolutely fine the next day. Would absolutely go back again!

I ordered only things that were marked GF on the menu. They said they had a separate frier for all gf items. Weird service though. Ordered through your phone and no spots to add that you had an allergy and due to ordering on phone there was little time to talk to a server. Didn’t get sick though!

I have eaten there twice, in-person years ago and once for takeout. I had excellent GF ramen the first time (rice noodle replacement). Their COMO menu is very GF friendly, the tacos can all be made GF and they have a lot of variability. The staff was super helpful and even brought me separate corn tortillas/guacamole since the tortilla chips are not GF.
