The staff were friendly. Any grilled cheese can be made with gluten free bread. The cook changed gloves before he made my sandwich. I have celiac and did not have a reaction.

Definitely a hole in the wall type place but the grilled cheese was great and safe (no reactions). Fries weren't that good. The guys there were nice and seemed knowledgeable.

Delicious! I believe they use glutino bread - so the GF sandwiches are smaller than the regular sandwiches. I ate 2 sandwiches - the lowcountry and the ultimate grilled cheese. Both were amazing and most importantly safe for a person w celiac!! The sweet tea was also great. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Update: The past two times I have been there and ordered one sandwich - I got a sandwich and a half which was amazing and very filling

Oh my grilled cheese! Wish I had found this place years ago! Absolutely awesome and very friendly staff. Literally a hole in the wall and a little challenging to find but totally worth it. We ended up going here twice when on vacation because I never get to eat grilled cheese outside of my home. Definitely worth the trip.

The sandwiches were very good and the young men there were very attentive and understood clearly about gluten contamination but I was really turned off by the filthy bathrooms.

This place is a gem! Celiac safe, broad menu, dedicated GF fryer, and very friendly staff. We visited twice during our vacation. I had a grilled cheese with Brie and strawberry jam and fries. Everything my family had was delicious! Highly recommend for everyone.

Great place! Really good food! Nice guys too. We went because my wife can't eat gluten, and her GF app found Cory's. When we ordered our meal they told us they were out of GF bread...but when they realized it was an allergy (not a preference) they went next door to Harris Teeter grocery store and bought a gluten free loaf just for my wife!

Gluten free bread and fryer! This is a cute quirky place ( Dalek poster, pac man, Star Wars...) with delicious sandwiches. I had the downtown with Brie. Really great balance of creamy Brie , sweet fig, savory caramelized onion and a little tart crunch from thin slices of green apple. Very flavorful. How stand had the Cory Special which he really liked. The fries were good. The sweet potato fries were a little soft, but tasty still. Only suggestion would be to update/ scrub the bathroom a little. Overall this place is a real treat for someone with wheat allergy / celiac/ sensitivity.

Quirky spot. but GREAT food. Had an egg and cheese sandwich that was absolute perfection, along with good fries (regular were better than sweet potato) and an enjoyable burger. They were great about changing gloves and being really cautious. Can definitely recommend this place!!

I was extremely pleased with this place! It's not often that I can have a gluten free sandwich, especially one this delicious. They made sure to not cross contaminate and asked me question before making my sandwich. Our service was excellent!

My husband has Celiac disease and while we were visiting Charleston was having trouble finding restaurants that were knowledgable about the condition. Our first day in the city, he had two "bad meals". I search the GF App and found Cory's Grilled Cheese. Wow! We were both very happy. The owner talked to us about what we needed and how he could accommodate us. My husband had lots of choices and was very happy with his Phila beef and cheese sandwich with grilled onions and peppers along with homemade French Fries! What a treat and no sickness later! What a great find.

I love this place. I am pretty newly diagnosed with Celiac, so eating out really stresses me out. This place was wonderful! The staff is very helpful, friendly, and respectful. There are so many options here and they are all delicious. They are very knowledgeable and definitely take care to ensure no cross contamination. I had GF French toast, which I thought would be horrible, but it was delicious. They also have great French and sweet potato fries that have their own fryer!

These guys are great!! They have a dedicated gfree fryer for french fries, but it's used for onions as well in case you are sensitive to onions.

They were very knowledgeable about what had gluten and dairy in it and very friendly. The goat cheese isn't gluten free because they double dip when spreading on regular bread. He looked on his pc and made gluten free suggestions.

I had the french toast and they made the batter just for me. My husband really enjoyed his non gluten free food, too.

Excellent food at a great price! My fiancé and I were on a road trip and being GF there didn't seem to be a variety of options. I found Cory's on this app and we decided to try it. They completely cleaned the grill and took extra precautions for my food and made mine before his. It tasted amazing and if I'm ever back in SC I will definitely go back!

Simple menu but delicious food. Great job at taking special precautions to prevent cross contamination. It took a little while to get food (they were not busy) and fries & sandwiches did not come out at the same time. However, I know they took time to clean the grill and segregate my sandwich, so I will not penalize them for that. I live in Mt.P and wish they were closer, so I could go back more frequently!

for gluten sensitive folks these guys are great.asked me if I was worried about cross contamination. they cooked everything fresh and st the bar you can watch them prepare it. service is a bit off. I got my sandwich(Philly cheese steak on udi's) before my girlfriend got her full of gluten Cory special, and our fries(from a dedicated fryer) came after we finished our sandwiches. these are easy things for me to over look when they take great attention to making a safe and delicious sandwich.

They do a good job where cross contamination is considered- all things considered. It is a sandwich place after all so it looks like condiments and toppings are all shared, but the staff said the fryer has "never had gluten or meat in it" so it's gf and vegetarian. They only charge $.50 for gf bread and it's Udis. Sweet potato fries and regular are tasty.

These guys were great about asking if GF was for preference or allergy (so it could be prepared separately). The bread was wonderful- not dry like some of the gf bread out there. It was more Texas toast style. Loved the build your own sandwich style. We will definitely be returning in the future!
