Amazing gluten free food with a BIG warning: They have servers who do not speak and understand English really well My husband asked if everything was gluten free and the server said yes. He then offered a basket of bread and my husband asked if it was gluten free. The server nodded and said yes. I took a slice of bread and butter and ate half when the server came back with a plate of bread. He misunderstood and thought my husband had a gluten allergy and got HIM gluten free bread. My husband said wait, was the other bread NOT gluten free? the server said sorry he misunderstood. I had already eaten half a slice of gluten bread. The owner came to ask if I was okay and I said I didn’t know but I have celiac disease so Im pretty worried. He said you have to speak up about that! I did. He said “impossible! the server speaks very good english! i said nothing because I was shocked be the reply. The server took responsibility and said he was so sorry and he didn’t understand. he insisted it was his mistake which it was. So lesson learned. Everything can be made gluten free but all items are NOT gluten free. The food was so flavorful and wonderful that I would come back but be sure to say that you have severe gluten allergy. try the Gf lasagna. also have lots of gluten free dessert options.
