Celiac here. Had the Nachos. They were great. Husband who is GF intolerant had the vegan Frito pie, and sweet potato fries. It was delish. Service was great. Neither of us got sick.

The menu has GF items marked, but it includes items fried in a shared fryer with wheat. Had the baked potato with chili. It was filling but not very flavorful. The service was very inattentive.

Executive chef knows a lot about celiac. No dedicated fryer, but the bbq sauce is safe.

Tips

Celiac

I stopped in to see what was gf. The tortilla chips do have a separate fryer. Everything else marked gf on the menu goes in a shared fryer.

They claim to have gluten free menu items, and have even confirmed it verbally twice. Come to find out they have some pretty sever contamination issues. After asking to read a label on dressing the manager came out and confirmed that there are contamination issues. Now it’s a wait and see to see how sick my child gets! Not celiac safe!!!!!!

They advertise the restaurant as having gluten free options but it is not celiac friendly. Shared fryer and waiter had to leave to get the answer to basic questions several times. Not recommended. My celiac son got sick as well.

We stopped there after a day of traveling. Seeing the menu online, I was hopeful there were something I could eat as a very sensitive celiac. However, our waitress did not seem that knowledgeable. She was able to tell us that the tortilla chips that made up most of the GF options were fried with wheat items. We chose to leave instead of risk eating there. I did try a margarita while we were deciding, and it was delicious.

Terrible attitude when it comes to gluten free options. The waiter was unable to help us and we ordered something labeled gf in the menu but when it finally arrived, it was clearly not gf!!! I do not trust this restaurant nor will I go back. Unfriendly and incredible slow service. We had to feed our parking meter twice. Not worth it.

DO NOT EAT HERE CELIAC/INTOLERANT. Someone stated that the manager has celiac, but I would doubt it. He couldn't care less about us, as he won't fix the menu. He and the rest of the staff were extremely unfriendly, uncaring and cold. They had a TYPO on their menu. A TYPO, the yak meatloaf labeled as gluten-free is not. By any means. It was served with onion rings for God's sake! (onion rings weren't listed in the menu, anywhere in the description). All the manager could say was a sad "sorry". The menu won't be changed despite the certain doom and peril for celiacs and the gluten intolerant. I would rate lower, if possible. When it comes to gluten free they either do not care or have absolutely no idea what they're doing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Called ahead and the hostess was very helpful about Gf items. Seated right away. Menu is very clearly marked for available items. As well as GF buns (+$1)for the sandwiches. Would give a 5th star but service was half step better than horrible. Waitress did not get everything ordered to the table. Asked for a beer and got it almost before was done eating. More than once she stopped at the table next to us and never turned around to see if we needed anything. Would go again for the food. Appropriately priced.

Ok if you want a burger or chicken BBQ - otherwise you're out of luck. Poor service. Cold nachos but burger was good.

Sloooooooooow inattentive service. Good variety of BBQ GF options. Fries are not fried separately but they don't claim them to be GF. GF buns for any sandwich..$1 extra. Would be 4 or 5 stars if waiter came by.

The short stack of smoked chicken, blue corn tortillas, and green chile sauce was so good I had it twice in the two days I was in Santa Fe. If only they had gluten-free beer to wash it down!
