We waited more than an hour (arrived at dinner time) and I had read here about “nothing fried, etc.” so I shared a shrimp cocktail app and ordered the steamed crab for dinner. The shrimp were incredibly bland - more so than you’d expect from shrimp cocktail. The steamed crab was what you’d expect, but I had told my waiter I was GF and my basket of sides (mashed potatoes and Cole slaw) came out with two hush puppies in it. My friend took the hush puppies and I asked the waiter for a new fork since it had touched the hush puppies and the waiter took the basket saying “let me make sure nothing on here is bad for you” the potatoes and slaw were in separate containers but when he returned the basket it still was the same one that had previously held the hush puppies. (Could see crumbs still) I didn’t have a reaction but the consensus around the table of all the other food is it didn’t come close to the hype. Wish I could have said otherwise, our search for a great seafood place continues!

Symptomatic Celiac

Our waitress was aware of celiac and checked salad dressing ingredients for us.

I found on another website to tell the waitress your order needs to be gluten free. We had grilled shrimp and plain green beans. Very good.

Celiac

Server checked in the back for gluten free options, basically anything not fried. Having eaten dinner prior years here, we tried it out for lunch and I feel that the A team was not working or they were short staffed. Regarding gluten free, my son enjoyed the burger without a bun and my husband enjoyed peel and eat shrimp and crab legs. The crab legs were delicious, however, some of the other food was undercooked. No dedicated fryer or separate menu for GF.
