Crabby Dicks Restaurant

Everyone I spoke with understood gluten allergies and celiac. All steamer bowls are gluten free! It was SO DELICIOUS, and everything I wanted for a meal on the coast! The server has a dairy allergy and said she completely understood why I was being so cautious. There were MANY things to choose from!

Things started out bad when we asked our waitress if there was anything on the Kids Menu that could be made gf and she replied "We can take off the tomato sauce and just him spaghetti." It took 25 minutes to get any food, no refills on drinks even after we asked. Our meals were done and we sat 30 minutes waiting for a check. With 2 children this is definitely not good.

They advertise on FMGF as having a gf menu. When I asked for it I was told they don't have one & just have a list of items at the wait station listing "salads, our fish as long as it isn't fried, etc'. I will not be returning in any future trips to Dewey/Rehoboth.

They recently updated their main menu, but did not update their gluten free menu. Additionally our waiter had no idea what gluten free food was. Manager informed me I could use old gf menu as a guide and pretty much stick to anything steamed since most/all sauces were not gluten free. Steam pot was good once it arrived.

Had a GF menu and my daughter enjoyed her meal.

They offer a separate menu of GF options...my daughter only has a sensitivity so this works for us as an option! Very helpful waitstaff!
