This is my second time going here but my first time learning they are entirely GF!!! I had the chicken white bean soup and a bowl. Soup was flavorful but not very hot. The bowl was to die for ! I mixed quinoa and mixed greens as the base , wild salmon and avocado for the protein , added cucumbers , Parmesan cheese and oil and vinegar . It was my lunch AND dinner! They had a combo pack of a choc chip/ snickerdoodle cookie and they were also amazing ! I’m not usually a big snickerdoodle fan but they were better than the Choc chip ! Staff was all sweet and I will be returning at some point !

Bottom Line: They are NO LONGER a dedicated gluten free kitchen. They also use individual ingredients that aren't safe for Celiac.

Details: I have gotten food from Crisp Greens many times (often their weekly take home meals), and have had to decide that I can no longer continue to order from there. It used to be safe but now I'm finding that I'm getting sick every time I eat it. It's all incredibly flavorful and delicious so I wish this wasn't the case! Unfortunately they are no longer a dedicated GF kitchen, since they serve catering items with regular bread. They say they have a separate part of their kitchen for it, but I'm not sure that the gluten is being handled with care to keep it separate. In addition, I've also seen some of the individual ingredients containers that they use and some of the brands are not ones I would consider safe for people with Celiac.

Crisp Greens is my go to place. They are entirely gluten-free so I don’t have to ever worry about cross contamination. It’s such a great feeling!

I love Crisp Greens! The staff is always welcoming and I don’t have to worry about gluten when trying to order. Their salads are always so fresh and I love being able to customize them or create my own thing. Their soups are a true gem, I love them on cold drizzly days and it’s fun to see what varieties they have each day.

I called this establishment to see what their gluten free option were and I was informed that the restaurant is entirely gluten-free. I then ordered a salad from there, the spicy Greek salad, and within an hour I could tell that there was some type of cross contamination. I’m not sure if it was the dressing or something else but the only other thing I had eaten that day was certified gluten free.

Crisp Greens has been such a wonderful add to Tacoma. I been on cleanses and there options make me feel so good! Many gluten and dairy free items. High quality fresh veggies and the best dressings. Great for soooo many different diet or eliminations. The owners value community and helped during covid, feeding hospital workers. So all around great for your belly.

Everything is gluten free and they’re great at catering to different food allergy needs. The salads are flavorful and fun. I always feel better after eating one of their meals.
