Cry Baby Pasta

The chef is gluten free and the pasta is cooked in a separate pot than the gluten full. The waiter was so lovely and checked on what I and my daughter (df) could eat and had the kitchen modify one dish so my daughter could eat it. The food was great and the ambiance was warm and welcoming! Great mocktails too. A wonderful dining experience in a great neighborhood restaurant.

Server asked up front if anyone had allergies or dietary restrictions. Once I told her I had celiac she was very knowledgeable on it and told me about the gluten free pasta options and which menu items I should avoid due to cross-contamination. I had the mushroom pasta with the gluten-free fusilli and it was delicious as well as the gelato I had for dessert. Overall great experience!

My girlfriend and I, who both have Celiac, had an excellent experience there and didn’t react afterwards. They only keep one type of gluten free pasta on hand (fusilli, rigatoni, etc) but they can make any of the pasta dishes for you with it, and they have amazing gluten free desserts as well. They took our dietary restrictions very seriously and the meal was incredible.

I was excited to try this place because of the reviews on here. Was looking forward to pasta but the waitress immediately told me (which I appreciate) that the gf pasta is cooked in the same water as the non gf. She did point out what I could eat and everything was good - I was just disappointed because I went for the pasta.

Everyone enjoyed their food- I was the only gf diner in our party. I ordered the pesto pasta and it was fine- creamier and saltier than I prefer and the pasta was a bit over cooked. Given that the owner is celiac I expected a nicer selection of gf choices. That said, I would go back because overall everyone was happy with their food. Service was good, though the bathroom wasn’t super clean (no idea if that is unusual).

It's a pasta place, so I opted for the gf pasta and was not disappointed. I hope to return, because there were several other options that sounded great. I was even able to get dessert. Attentive staff were knowledgeable about gf. Wonderful options for gf dining.

Really cute place with great food and service. The server affirmed my pasta was gluten free when they brought it out which I always appreciate. They told me one of the dessert options could be ordered gluten free which I appreciated since it wasn’t mentioned on the menu.

Wonderful experience. Service was great and they went out of their way to explain everything on their menu that could be gf. Had the brocolini as an appetizer. Then had the vodka past dish with GF pasta. It all tasted great and had no issues.

They were very attentive and careful with my allergy. I got the broccolini (sauteed rather than grilled to avoid CC), asparagus, and a pasta dish. All delicious and most importantly didn’t make me sick. Highly recommend for the food, drinks, and atmosphere!

My waitress did not seem to be very knowledgeable at all when it came to what was or wasn’t gluten free. Especially when it came to which drinks were safe. I got the cacio e pepe gf spaghetti and didn’t get sick.
