Good experience and good food! Dedicated fryer and helpful staff. They brought me an allergy menu when I asked about GF options.
Got the blackened shrimp (huge portion - like, huge!) and French fries and collard greens. So good.
My only flag is the collard greens - they just say collard greens on the menu but they come with bacon in them and I think red peppers too. At first glance I thought the bacon were loose pieces of fried breading and got really worried about cross contamination, but non GF partner tried and confirmed bacon (he ordered the collard greens too, his had the same small fried pieces in them). I didn’t eat them anyways but the rest was really good.
Really popular spot - just expect to be waiting for up to an hour if you’re going on a weekend for dinner.
