While they definitely make an effort to be informed they didn’t know that the asafoetida they’ve been using contains gluten. Asafoetida itself does not contain gluten but most commercial versions add it into the product. It’s used in their dal so would avoid.
I still ate there as they assured me they would take good precautions and was fine.

We love the food! It is our go to place for take out - including festive gatherings - our extended family always looks forward to getting their “fix” of Curry Twist food.
There are many celiacs in our family and no one has ever had a problem. We have come to fully trust them.

Food was really good. My bad for Indian food is pretty high and this is easily a top 5 Indian restaurant in the GTA.
Menu clearly writes what is GF or not but you should still make it clear to them that you have an allergy.
Stomach felt fine after though there is always a risk of cross contamination given they serve naan.

Summer 2019 they are closed for renovations. Make sure you check their website or call beforehand to check if they have opened after renos.
Almost all their curries are GF, and when I asked about the Saag Paneer (isn’t marked GF) they said it was because there was chic pea flour in it and though that is GF they don’t know about the facility it comes from. So next level and great food! My husband and son are celiac so we are very careful.

This restaurant is not completely gluten free therefore there is the possibility of cross contamination, however I am quite sensitive to gluten and did not have any adverse reactions
The food was delicious and tasted authentic. I could taste the fresh spices and loved that I was able to specify the amount of spice. I asked for hot and it was perfect. Definitely some good heat but not overpowering.

Knowledgeable staff and very attentive to ensuring food is safe. Celiac friendly.

Amazing! Our absolute favourite place for takeout (but you can eat in the restaurant as well). We ate here many many times before diagnosis and were so happy to find that we can continue to eat here. Their menu has gluten free items clearly marked, also vegan and dairy free items (note - some of the dishes have nuts in the sauce). There is a lot of choice, almost everything is gluten free! Be sure to mention GF needs when they take your order. Note - there is gluten in the kitchen, as they make their own breads, however they have always taken care with our order and we have never had any issues. We wish they were open for lunch so we could go there more often!
