Nothing is safe as even the soft serve machine (which is by nature gluten free) gets continually contaminated - my son worked here and could not eat anything safely except packaged candy and drinks. I got super sick after a milk shake so he inquired and was told by the manager that when they do training, they train by putting the soft serve on a cone, then dump that right back into the machine…and that’s how they trained him as well! So, it’s not gluten free at all! Very disappointed. He tried to get them to change their tactics, but they would not.

There is gluten free/ dairy free/ soy free dole, as well as gluten free cones. I believe the custard is gluten free as well. The ice cream may have cross contamination since the scoops they use are used for all flavors (some ice cream have cookie dough or Oreo bits) and then they sit it warm sanitizer (which does not get rid of all gluten). If you’re super sensitive to cross contamination, and they aren’t busy, you can ask them to clean it with soap and water. Some of the workers understand celiac and are accommodating (I work next door and am friends with a few of them).

They asked me if I'm celiac and made sure to be extra careful when they made my dole. They also have dairy free options.
