decided not to eat here because seems like they are unable to take precautions
menu is clearly marked & they have a number of options that do not contain gluten ingredients
i asked the server about cross contact and after checking with the chf, she told me that they have a gluten free fryer but not a dedicated prep area. i followed up by asking if they can take any extra precautions to prevent cross contact with gluten, and she repeated that they have a gluten free fryer but not a dedicated gf prep area
(imo not having a dedicated prep area and then putting food prepared in the same area into a "designated" fryer fully defeats the purpose of having the second fryer)

After speaking with the manager, who then spoke with the chef, I followed the recommendation to order the breakfast bowl. I also ordered the GF cheesecake. The food was so tasty, but within a few hours I was incredibly sick. While the place does have a dedicated fryer, they do not have a separate prep space. I was assured at every step that my food would be safe, but it wasn't. I'm so disappointed.
