They said everything is gluten free. Almost all reviews are positive about this restaurant. So I thought it was okay. But my experience with this restaurant is absolutely not okay. I had complaints afterwards. I won't go here again.

I was nervous. We got there and no one was there—that made me wonder if we made the right choice. WE DID! Very good, unique choice. Everything tasted great, even the house wine! Friendly service, willing to answer questions and help us out. This was an excellent gf selection.

We had a wonderful meal here. The person helping us said that all the dishes are gluten free, that they even use gluten free soy sauce substitute. The Ricetable and vegetarian Ricetable were excellent. It’s very close to the metro and a tram line so it’s easy to get to from Centraal or other locations like the Rijksmuseum.

I had a very disappointing interaction with this restaurant. After reading the reviews from other people with dietary restrictions I thought they are willing to accommodate people's needs. Therefore, I decided to send them an email about my dietary restrictions. The response I got was "Unfortunately we can not accommodate your dietary request". When I asked if they could explain the reason they didn't care to respond. I'm sure they could have offered some options where some risk might be involved since most restaurants are often able to do so.

Indonesian food with delicious earthy flavours. Very safe GF-wise.

I’m gluten intolerant (hence not full marks for safety as I know being coeliac is different) & this was a really tasty Indonesian meal in a friendly, welcoming and laid back restaurant. It was lovely to not even think about gluten being an issue as the only thing I couldn’t have was prawn crackers…but they had an alternative!

Cute little place. Tasty. You have to tell them it’s gluten-free. Apparently their dishes are gluten-free but they have crackers on the side they can serve.

Very gluten-free friendly. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free, and what’s not is replaced with a gluten free alternative. Highly recommend!

Authentic DELICIOUS cuisine owned by a family. Owner said it was all gluten free but her mother who barely spoke English wasn’t sure. I’m gonna believe the owner! There was a option to try basically a little of everything and it was so worth it. Cash only so bring it with you or you’ll have to go to the ATM next door.

When I was diagnosed with Celiac, I thought enjoying rijsttafel in Amsterdam was history. How wrong I was!! Amazing GF rijsttafel (Indonesian "rice table") with both meat and vegetarian offerings await you within a 15 minute walk of Museumplein! The staff is wonderful and very aware of GF and celiac issues. All dishes are gluten free (including soy sauce dishes). The only non-GF item I saw was the puffed crackers put on the table, and they have a GF version which they gave us instead. Not sure about the review that said to bring cash - we paid with a card today (same day) and it was no problem! Food was absolutely amazing. We had the Desa rijsttafel for 2 people, which has meat dishes - it included 3 chicken dishes, 2 meat dishes, 2 warm veggie dishes, one cold veggie dish, spicy potatoes, and two bowls of rice - one plain and one fried. We also had a mango juice and a liter of water, and the bill was under 50 Euros. We will absolutely return to this welcoming and delicious restaurant!!!
