Desfina Restaurant

Got what I assume was cross-contamination here a while back unfortunately. I had veggies with hummus, salad with olive oil, and lentil soup, all of which I was assured were GF. Also plain greek yogurt for dessert with honey and walnuts (this was the BEST greek yogurt I’d ever had). I’m not sure what did it, but I felt ill the whole day after. Not a lot of GF options anyways

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Good

The waiter we had wasn’t very knowledgeable, but may have been the language barrier. He was able to tell me what was coked communally vs in its own pan, so I was able to menu select that way. I wasn’t too adventurous given the lack of information, but I had no problems afterward.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

Great food. Servers were very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!! Greek salad and eggplant dip by far muy favorite. They didn’t have any gf bread so they gave us veggies to dip in the eggplant dip and honestly I didn’t feel like I was missing much. They are quick to accommodate.

— Excellent

Desfina is one of our favorite restaurants, and I have never gotten sick. They are knowledgeable a out what is gluten free (the baked lamb is superb, as is the grilled calamari, grilled octopus, and whole fish). They also have GF sides and salad. We eat there almost too much. :)
