Switched their ovens. Pizzas have to go on the stone with the other non-gf. Not safe.

Not safe for celiac. They do have a gluten free crust but have confirmed it comes off the pan to go into the oven and they can’t clean the oven surface. So it most definitely comes in contact with contaminated surfaces. They are also not able to provide an allergen menu, nor is anything listed on the menu. The server told me salads are gluten free, but then when I wanted to confirm the salad dressings are okay, she said oh wait, the Caesar salad isn’t gf.

They have gluten free crust available for every pizza. I used to work in the kitchen before I was gluten free. We took allergies very seriously and had a clean space, clean utensils, clean gloves, and separate sealed toppings for gluten free pizzas.

Gluten free crust is available (and cooked in a dedicated pan) and ingredients used for gluten free pizzas are pulled from under the counter to help reduce cross contamination. My celiac daughter did not get sick and loved the pizza crust.

Dewey’s was asked to cater in for the Miss Amazing pageant. Our daughter who has celiac, was performing at the pageant. I called the restaurant to see if it would be safe.
They do everything they can that is reasonable to prevent contamination. They do make the pizza in the same kitchen with everything else but they are aware of avoiding contamination as much as possible. They cook the pizza in a tray and will put it in the top rack if they have other pizzas in the oven. Our daughter reported that she lived the pizza and never showed any kinds of reactions.

Amazing!!! I ordered takeout on the phone & I was reassured the gluten free cauliflowers pizza could be prepared separately for an allergy. I got the cauliflower cheese pizza & peppercorn ranch salad (my fav!!). The crust didnt even taste like cauliflower or gf, it tasted like a normal pizza crust!! Definitely will be ordering again from this location :)

When I ordered GF pizza the server asked if it was celiac or preference. They assured me they would clean the counter and oven where my pizza was made and baked, everyone on the line would change gloves, it would be baked in a pan so as not to touch any flour-covered surfaces, and they would use fresh toppings. I was amazed at how thorough they were. I did not get sick at all and the pizza was great!

I got a build your own pizza on a gluten-free crust. It was delicious. It is made in a kitchen where there is flour everywhere, the crust is made elsewhere and kept on its tray when going through the pizza oven. A bit risky but I did not get sick. It is put together in a separate part of the kitchen and they cut it with a clean pizza cutter. I also was able to get dairy-free cheese.
