Some of the best gluten free donuts I’ve ever had! They are stored in a separate container & they know to place them in separate packaging. I’ve tried all of the flavors… here’s my rating (1) Vanilla (2) Chocolate (3) Cinnamon. SO GOOD

Huge and wonderful gf donuts but only a limited quantity. Gf donuts are kept in a separate case from the others. Go early before they run out… I got the last one today at 10am.

The best gf donut I’ve ever had!! The cashier double checked with the kitchen to ensure donuts are still made and decorated separately. Tried the cinnamon sugar and vanilla frosted donut and both were amazing, hope they make more flavors soon!

I echo most of the reviews I have read on here. It is definitely a cake donut, which I was expecting, and they had 3 different kinds. All 3 were yellow cake flavor but one had vanilla icing, the second had chocolate icing & the third was cinnamon sugar. They were clearly labeled & in a separate area. Worth the walk!

I walked 20 mins out of the way just to try this donut and it was AMAZING. Haven’t had a donut in years (that wasn’t from the frozen section at grocery store). The woman helping me changed her gloves and put mine in a separate bag from the gluten filled ones my husband got. She was so sweet and gave us a free (gluten) donut. My hubs was happy.

Overall great experience and did not get sick 😊

I got the sprinkle donut, which was very good, but more cake-like in texture than a typical donut. The gluten free donuts were in a separate area, and the employee changed his gloves without prompting before getting my donut.

UPDATE: I guess it depends who’s working in the store. Today they gave me one gluten-free and one gluten donut. I made them aware of the issue. The manager was amazing. They retrained the staff and I got free donuts. Mistakes happen, just be aware that you’re getting the right donut. I’ve added a picture so you can clearly see the difference :) The left one is NOT GF and the right is GF. You can clearly see the difference in color. 👌🏻

Original: Amazing donuts! I reached out to them online and they let me know the donuts are fried in a dedicated fryer and and topped with dedicated GF ingredients.

Gf donuts are displayed separately from the gluten donuts. They do a glove change and use a tissue to grab the donut.

My first gluten free donut besides the ones you get in the freezer section. It was okay. Nothing like donuts I was used to as a former gluten eater. I wouldn’t eat it again. I got the cinnamon one and it tasted like the fry grease and was dry.

Fresh and huge donuts! Any donuts I have had since my celiac diagnosis have been tiny frozen ones so I was surprised by the size of these.

I was so excited to try these donuts based on the previous reviews. I ordered online to have them delivered to our hotel. I had noticed they had 3 types of gluten free donuts and ordered a gluten free half dozen. Once delivered, I opened the box yo find 6 different donuts and no differentiation on the box whatsoever. I pulled the receipt off my daughters bag and noticed a note written below the gluten free donuts that read “unavailable”. When I called the store I was informed that they had run out of gluten free donuts and substituted 6 regular donuts but had noted it on the receipt. Had I not been aware that they had only 3 gluten free options and gone to look on my daughters bag for a receipt, I would have been sick for days. They refunded my money and offered to put aside another box the following day which was fine but I feel that additional precautions could have been taken to prevent getting sick. I do not feel my gluten free order was taken seriously.

The BEST donut I have had while celiac. It had a delicious crunchy fried outside, and pillowy soft moist inside. The gf didn’t nuts are fried separately and stored away from gluten. Will go again and again!

They taste great, and I’ve never gotten sick.

My husband who can eat gluten tried mine and was amazed. He too thought it tasted like a regular cake donut.

12-2021 We were back in town so we returned. I had another wonderful doughnut with no side effects.

I used to work for Do Rite and their gluten free donuts are NOT gluten free. Yes, the batter itself is gluten free and they fry them in a separate fryer but after being fried they encounter rampant cross-contamination. They are glazed, iced, and decorated in the same exact materials as the regular donuts. This is standard procedure at all locations. As we made donuts throughout the night the glazer would become filled with small pieces and big chunks of our regular donuts, so it was very common to glaze the gluten free donuts in glaze that was absolutely filled with pieces of glutenous donuts. They also dipped them in the same icing as the glutenous donuts and in the same toppings as the glutenous donuts. So although they start out gluten-free, they are absolutely not gluten-free by the time you purchase them.

This is not a dedicated GF facility, but they are very careful. GF donuts are in a separate part of the store and the server changed gloves before getting our GF donut without us needing to ask. Donut was tasty.

Great gf donut! Got there around 9am and there were only 2 left, I got a plain donut with vanilla frosting and sprinkles and it was amazing!!

I absolutely LOVE Do Rite! They prepare their 3 GF donut flavors (birthday cake, chocolate, and cinnamon sugar) in a dedicated fryer, and keep everything separate through the whole process. When you order gluten free, 9 times out of 10 they will change gloves without further info. Once or twice this hasn’t happened, so I would still recommend asking them to, or noting that you’re celiac.

These donuts have fooled my non-celiac friends - they’re really amazing!

These are hands down the best gluten free donuts I have ever had. They are good donuts in general. Their sugar cinnamon are the perfect taste and texture. Just make sure you go early because they run out.

Every time we visit Chicago we make a trip to Do-Rite for their awesome GF donuts. They never disappoint! They are big and not overly sweet. I wish we had donuts like this back in Indy.

Seriously?!?!? Best GF donut, or dessert, I have ever tasted in the almost 7 years I’ve been GF. I waited for 10 minutes as they needed to make more. So, I watched the staff wait on many other people. They are 100% careful with cross contamination. Always had new gloves on, used bakery tissue and/or washed their hands. GO!!!!!
