I think it is possible to eat here and be ok, but you have to be very careful! The servers don’t speak super great English, so I had to clarify things MANY times. For example, I asked if the chips were in a dedicated fryer and was told “yes” by two separate servers, but then one realized that no, the tempura-battered fish is cooked in the same oil. So, NO the chips are not safe.
Also, the queso has flour in it!!?! So, queso is off the table, too, as well as any enchiladas smothered in it. I got the brisket tacos on corn and was ensured the beans and rice are absolutely safe. All tacos on corn tortillas were touted to be GF, but I will say use caution here regardless. The food we did get was sooo good, though, so fingers are crossed I don’t get sick!

I want to start out by saying I *assumed* the dish I ordered was gluten free based on similar dishes I’ve had at other restaurants. I ordered the Blancas enchiladas and thought this would be safe because enchiladas are usually made with corn tortillas. I’m not sure if they used flour tortillas or if there was gluten in the sauce, but I was very sick all night after eating there. I will say that the enchiladas were delicious and I loved the outdoor patio. However, if you do eat here I suggest not ordering enchiladas, or asking what all is in them before ordering.
