Waiter explained to me that I was going to get sick if I ate any of the pasta. I got a salad instead and did not get sick

Small place where open center area is a pizza making spot with the baker spreading flour out in the open. Too much of a homemade gluten pizza and pasta place to feel safe. Went with just a plain pear salad as waiter seemed to think the only issue for gluten would be croutons and did not seem to have much knowledge about gluten free (kind of understandable at a heavily gluten place like this).

Really tasty food but the gf options are quite limited. Mainly just gf pasta or some appetizers. Great cocktails! Because it is largely a pizza and pasta restaurant, I’m weary of the safety.

I’ve been here twice. The first time the gf pasta tasted delicious but made me feel a little sick- I got the sausage pasta dish. The second time I got the truffle and cheese pasta dish and it was great plus I felt fine. Maybe it was the meat that was cross contaminated the first time? Either way, I will be back. Their gf pasta is very good (fettuccine, not just penne!)
