If you want vegan…steer clear. So so bad. Threw it away after 1 bite. Although considered gf, I have my doubts.

End of the season, so they limited flavors.Has a sheet with flavors and allergans. Very careful. Wore gloves and gave me a generous scoop. Right on the wharf. Tasty!

Staff had a binder with allergen information. Guy working (who mentioned it was his first day-and he did great!) washed hands, changed gloves, and opened a separate tub. Great experience and excellent tasting ice cream.

The staff here are very helpful! On the menu, it says to let the staff know about any allergies when ordering. I explained that I have celiac, and the person taking my order got a paper that lists all the items on their menu and whether they have wheat (it also lists whether the items have a couple other allergens). They will also wash hands and get a new tub of ice cream to prevent cross contamination if you explain that you have celiac (which they referred to as procedures they use if you have an allergy, so they probably do the same thing for other allergies too). There are some sorbets as well if you want something dairy free. I got Chocolate Lover’s Dream, which is chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, and it was great! I didn’t have any problems here, and the ice cream was very good!

See my comments. 2 locations and one does it well.
There are two locations but only the location in the harbor is truly accommodating. They change gloves and use new everything. We went there twice on our vacation. We tried the other location located in a strip mall and the kids working there didn’t know what GF meant and they didn’t know the ingredients in their own ice cream. We walked out. Go by the water because they know GF. The ice cream is fabulous.

They mark orders with an allergy, bring up a fresh container of ice cream, and wash scoops and hands. They also offer gf cones. Plus this is some of the best ice cream in the area!

Very accommodating. Opened a new container, washed scoops, etc. And it was the first time I have had ice cream in a cone in 7 years.

Great experience. They have gluten free cones and take the ice cream out of an unopened container. My 11 year old is a highly sensitive Celiac.
Yes
Stopped in expecting to get soft serve in a dish however they had a choice of GF sugar or regular cones! I didn't risk trying the hard fun flavor ice cream because I was pretty certain they were cross contaminated. But I was happy with a twist on a GF cone.
