Duck & Waffle

One of the best breakfasts we had in Edinburgh. There were a few items marked GF but other dishes could be modified for gluten allergies. The duck & waffle isn't listed as being GF on the menu but could be made with a gluten free waffle, which is exactly what we did. We've been to the London location which admittedly had better views but this one had a better overall vibe and tasted better, in my opinion. The decor was really fun and instagram-worthy. But the menu lived up to the hype.

When you tell a place you have Celiacs and they say “no problem,” you know you’re in good hands. The staff was so thoughtful and careful and the food was absolutely declined. While they can’t guarantee zero cross-contamination, they were careful to clean surfaces and use dedicated cookware. I had the duck and waffle and it was one of the best things I’ve ever had-not just gluten free.
