Very celiac friendly. Easy to understand menu. Food was pretty good. Open 24 hours.
3 stars for actually having gluten free options, 2 stars for taste and food quality and 1 star for service. We had burgers. The buns were okay and we had baked potato as the sides. Burgers were dry and bland, and the potatoes were awful. Not sure why someone else would give it more stars.
Awesome! I did NOT get sick! Told the server I have a gluten allergy and ordered the steak salad from the "celiac friendly" menu. A gluten free bun came with it and all their salad dressings are gluten free. I am very pleased with my experience here. I have eaten here several more times since, and did not get sick! 😄
Great salad bar & GF menu, knowledgeable servers.
Ordered a salad - no fries - received a salad with fries. Asked for another without and ate half and realized there were fries under the lettuce. So instead of making a new salad they merely took the fries off and gave it to me. Very dissatisfied. I spoke to the manager and she only offered me a gift card, and called corporate and they didn't care at all. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
I go here all the time and they are really good at taking care of me. They don't have a huge variety of stuff but enough and it is all on a section of their menu in the front marked celiac friendly. All their burgers are celiac friendly and come with a celiac roll for an extra dollar. The celiac rolls are good...I actually questioned if it was gf the first time I ate one. Great place to eat for somebody that has to be Gluten Free.
This is my go to place when I don't feel like exerting too much thought into which foods could possibly contain gluten. Every salad dressing, the BBQ sauce, and the bacon are safe, and you can get a gluten free bun for .50, they'd get a 5 star rating if they invested in a separate fryer, I'd like fries with that, a dessert, and made the menu a little friendlier.
No gluten free desserts? Not even a scoop of ice cream. Disappointing for a restaurant that claims to be celiac friendly.
GF cheeseburgers with GF buns! Doesn't get much better. They have a separate part of the kitchen for GF cooking. Love this place
They claim GIG certification, but our waitress is very unknowledgeable and I've yet to see the manager I asked for. Be careful if you order the rosemary chicken. The sauce contains wheat although they neglected to tell me that when they wrote down the list of ingredients. Not seeing any thickener on the list, I asked my waitress what they used to thicken the sauce and she told me wheat. Ugh! Why is this on their gluten free menu? There is no indication that u need to order without sauce like the others. I've had great service at the location at the Clearview Mall, but this one stinks!
It's nice to go to a place with a celiac-friendly menu. My Angus bacon cheeseburger was quite tasty. I haven't had a burger in a while. The gf roll was good, though soggy on the bottom. I don't know if it sat on the plate for a while or if it's intrinsically soggy. The applesauce was chunky and good.
I am so thrilled that Eat'n Park is awesome about gluten allergies. As Roxanna mentioned, they take special care in preparing food for those with allergies separately and it is just as delicious as the non-GF food I remember having here in the past. And yes! The buns are awesome and you can buy them in house to bring home because they are made specifically for Eat'n Park. As soon as I ordered my burger with a GF bun and home fries instead of French fries, our waitress asked if I had an allergy and made a special note of it when I confirmed that I did have one. She took care in keeping my food separate from anything with gluten from the point it left the grill to the table. While my meal did come out well before my dining partner's, I appreciated the extra care that Eat'n Park takes in making sure that my meal will not only be delicious but the gluten-free meal I ordered.
Good options if you eat meat. They offer gluten free buns!
Their g-free menu is AWESOME! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, a gluten intolerant person, as myself, can not go wrong here. I am a very frequent customer. Never experienced cross-contamination. Servers are very knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. Celiac-friendly buns are the best!
Very helpful and aware of celiac. They seem very knowledgable about the dangers. This is one of the few places that actually offers a GF bun rather than a lettuce wrap or telling you to go bunless. Menu is small but you won't get glutened.
Ate at Banksville Rd & Bethel Park. Wonderful buns. Usually ordered a hamburger & did not realize I could order other sandwiches on the bun. Last week I ate at the Bethel Park restaurant & had a great sandwich plus one of the best waitresses waited on me. Unfortuantely did not remember her name.
Just a word of warning: While they have a celiac menu, their servers may not know to tell the kitchen that you have ordered off the celiac menu and they'll serve you a regular meal. I went over this with my server 3 times and she still failed to tell the kitchen and I ended up very sick. They simply do not train their staff adequately.
Used to have a great gluten free section on back of menu. They still have all the selections but the new menu is kind of complicated. Still one of my favourite GF places.
I am always anxious to interrogate restaurants when they claim they are gluten free or celiac friendly, Between my husband and I we ask for tours of kitchens, talk to cooks, and read ingredient labels on their prepackaged cooking ingredients. Most of the time the food (meats and veggies) are fine and preparation is key, and usually they offer some sort of gluten free bread or bun for a fee, (usually gross) but its nice they try right? Well Eat,n Park in PA specifically lists Celiac disease on their menu, they change gloves, clean the grill completely, use different utensils (ones color coded separate for allergen cooking) and the menu has an entire section just for celiacs that is listed by breakfast, lunch and dinner. I like all of this but expected mediocre tasting food. The burger arrived, thick, juicy and dripping with cheese and bacon. The bun (my usual nemesis) I thought I simply would use as a handle to eat the burger. My first bite was divine, the bread was so soft, doughy, and held together wonderfully and didn't overshadow the juicy burger with the usual bitterness of gluten free bread. I loved it so much I asked the manager to bring out the label (he did). If you are ever in PA and would love to eat out with your family and enjoy your meal as much as you once did, go to EAT'N PARK!!! Salad bard was my side as their fryer isn't safe for fries considering they also fry breaded items in it, so they do not confidently offer it as safe.
Gluten free bun with breakfast was yummy. For safety reasons they send the manger to take your order and she ask what our allergy was!
