Delicious! We were only in town for lunch today, and found this little spot! My husband has celiac and was so excited to be able to get fried chicken and Mac and cheese out. I ordered the fish cakes and they were great. We also split the brownie which was delicious! It was so nice to know everything on the menu was safe for him to choose from.

Dedicated. GF Kitchen. Confirmed! Wine, GF beer and cider. Latin style food and Southern style foods 100% gluten free. Service is low-key and delightful. Try the chicken fingers, the fried green tomatoes, the black beans and rice, the tacos! We were too full to try the desserts. There are 4 standard beers on the menu, for ppl who don't need GF. I did have to add salt to everyrhing, but that's true just about everywhere.

I always go to EATS Highlands because of the wide variety of food that they have. The fact that everything is gluten free is so amazing and I have loved everything that I have gotten so far. Everything on the menu is great and the staff is so nice and they seem to know me because I come by so much! Everything is priced fairly and not too expensive compared to other all gluten free places. It is definitely worth the try if you are in Birmingham!

Eats is one of my favorite restaurants in the City. Everything on their menu is delicious and the staff are chill and friendly. Good home-town vibes. I typically get pork + veggie enchiladas (they’re stupid good) or wings with fried green tomatoes and the smashed red potatoes. The tostones are also top notch.

I eat here all the time, never had a bad experience or a bad dish. Love the food. The chicken fingers are amazing. The hamburger steak with gravy and mashed potatoes are some of the best I’ve had. They even had a gumbo special a few weeks ago that was fantastic, I had not had gumbo in many years.

My SO and I went there initially for a lunch date; I’m celiac, he’s normal(ish) 😂 We both thought the food tasted absolutely amazing, and the people are super friendly. He said he couldn’t tell the mac and cheese or cornbread was GF. We both loved it; I regularly am tempted to drive over from Atlanta just to eat here and have since brought other non GF folks here and they’ve said how good it all was as well. The gluten free beer is best consumed while it’s still very cold (he had it too, even though they do offer regular local beers 🥰); I personally recommend the cider 😄

Very patient, friendly, and accommodating staff. I had lots of questions since I’m out of state. They were great! You order at the counter then pick a table. Everything came out fairly quickly and tasted great. It was a bit heavy, but I knew that going in. They also really lather on the lemon pepper, so it was a bit overpowering. That being said I’d 100% come here again! I got the adult chicken tenders with turnip greens, fried green tomatoes (this was by far the show stopper), Mac and cheese, and tostones. The tostones are extremely crunchy as a heads up.
