I have been a few times. Never gotten “sick” but have had an upset stomach or mild cramping post eating here. I have ordered a variety of items and all tend to not sit completely right with me. Not enough to completely stray me away and convince me to not return, but I am skeptical.

Me and my son are both celiac and had the GF Cinnamon Roll breakfast. The cinnamon roll was to die for!!! It was delicious! They have a very extensive GF menu and I heard many other tables around us ordering from the GF menu .

Great place! Huge separate menu of GF options. Portions weren’t very large and taste was average, but will still go back for the variety. The GF cinnamon role was fantastic!

I love all egg harbor cafes. I will say the ones in Chicago area are a bit better tasting (especially the cinnamon buns), but this one was great overall! The server understood our needs and I did not feel sick afterwards. The best breakfast place to go if you are GF in my opinion!

We had the most amazing time at Egg Harbor. Everyone was kind and the kids loved the GF options too. The pancakes were the most normal tasting I’ve had in my many years of being gluten free. It’s a long drive for us but we will definitely come back!

Food was mediocre at best. Cinnamon rolls are hard, overpriced, and we didn’t finish it. Service was horrible. We did speak to the manager about it and let her know about our experience. We definitely feel it’s overrated and not worth it, but I suspect it gets rave reviews because they have an extensive gluten-free menu. I was not confident in the server in her understanding the seriousness of celiac (acted like I was annoying her and she knew it all), but ate because I was desperate. With that being said, I didn’t get sick, which is why I give them two stars instead of one.

Stand alone gf menu. Eaten here twice and no issues. The gf pancakes were too sweet for me but that is personal taste only. The cinnamon rolls are wonderful!

Amazing GF menu and knowledgeable staff! All the reviews said the cinnamon roll and pancakes where the best. So I got both, I mean when else can you find gf items like this! The pancakes were ok, not great. The cinnamon roll was amazeballs!!!

I have two kids who have celiac- this was the most extensive gluten free menu I’ve come across! Kids loved the cinnamon roll! They split the pancakes as well- loved them. Service was great- quick!

The wait staff was not completely knowledgeable but it is a chain and has a GF menu, so I was able to trust that. Did not get sick and had a good selection of breakfast options including cinnamon rolls and skillets. Safe place right downtown!

Ordered the gluten free pancakes. Quite good although will request a fruit topping or something on them next time. For those of you from the Chicago area, they use Sweet Ali's flour blend. The Gf menu in general is quite large for a breakfast place which is nice for a change. No reaction and love that they bring gf dishes out on red (instead of white) plates so there's no confusion.

We eat here whenever we are in Lake Geneva. I have never had a reaction from there. I love the Cinnamon Roll breakfast!

My son, who has Celiac, loved the GF pancakes, eggs, and sausage breakfast. The staff was well educated about cross-contamination issues, and the restaurant has strong procedures in place to keep GF foods separate -- they even serve GF food on nice red plates. We'll definitely return!!

Ask your server straightaway for the GF menu (yes, they have a dedicated menu, woo!). There are many options for GF diners and the food is excellent. The cinnamon roll breakfast is a MUST. They do state, right up front, a cross-contamination risk but, quite frankly, I think most restaurants run that risk (unless dedicated GF) but don't bother mentioning it.

My husband and I had breakfast here and it was delicious! He had a skillet, which probably would have been gf anyway, but they prepare it so as to be sure. I had a gf cinnamon roll which was delicious! There is a wise variety of breakfast foods (including pancakes) as well as lunch sandwiches. The menu is very nice and includes the prices so you don't need the full menu too. They people were very friendly and understood our needs. I am celiac and careful about what I eat and I was very happy with the food we got here!

Great spot for breakfast. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and take celiac seriously. There was a mistake and my food came with an English muffin. The meal was quickly removed and they made me a new meal. Waiter even double checked that first meal wasn’t just “recycled”. Highly recommended

This is the second time we have been here and so far so good. I am celiac and have not had any issues. While they do not have a GF space in kitchen I have not had cross contamination issues. They have a GF cinnamon roll they get from a local bakery that is soooo good and the rest of the family really likes the other dishes. On our list of regular places.

This used to by favorite brunch place for celiac safe food, but the last time I went I got horribly glutened. My mom (also celiac) had the same reaction when she tried going again after that. I’m not sure if it was the staff or a change in protocol, but we made clear both times that we had celiac disease and they said they could accommodate. Please be cautious going here, I hope they can make it safe again!
