Really delicious Mexican food. Most of the options are gluten free, menu marks options that have gluten as well as specifically calling out items that have cross-contamination risk.
Great vegetarian options and whole vegan section of the menu.

The food is very tasty. What I love about the menu is that so much of it is gluten free that they instead mark the items that do have gluten or are prepared on a surface with gluten-containing items.

I am a recent celiac diagnosis so going out to eat has been a struggle. I used this app to find a restaurant with solid gluten free options and I felt confident in this selection.
When we went, there was a wait of 1hr 20min. They gave us the option to sit on the patio and order drinks, chips, and salsa. When I asked about the chips, she said the chips are made in a corn factory and arrive to them as guaranteed-gluten free. Woohoo!
After we were seated, I let my waitress know that I have celiac disease and I was informed that there is absolutely no way to guarantee no cross-contamination, despite the menu designating items. This made me really nervous.
I got the Dart Bowl Enchiladas and did not get sick (thank goodness). I don’t think I would order that meal again as it was very heavy. My husband got the Honolulu Pork Tacos and he said they were very, very good.
Overall, the food was good, the drinks were good, waitstaff experience was meh. Be sure to emphasize if you have celiac and make sure your waiter or waitress makes a note on your ticket.

Great experience! Great food, knowledgeable waitstaff regarding allergies, and for once a menu that is GF safe with gluten dishes and those with cross contamination marked instead of the other way around! Jordan was a great waiter and will ask for him again. Definitely will be back!!

Good food and great staff! They mark their menus with food that either contains gluten or is prepped in a shared surface. Staff will help ensure your food comes out safely. Also the corn tortillas are delicious and used for their enchiladas! Chips also are safe to eat. Our go-to spot for Tex-Max

Delicious gluten free breakfast tacos!! So many yummy options marked on the menu. They also note which items are gf but at risk of cross contamination, which makes me feel good about their food preparation practices. Definitely get an agua fresca (fresh fruit water) as well.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Austin. My entire family is gluten sensitive and we never have any issues here. Food and service is amazing and now they even have grain free chips so eating Paleo is an option without having to sacrifice chips and queso...score!!

Extensive gluten free menu. Excellent food and good size portions. Great margaritas!
The food was incredibly tasty. Service great. The menu clearly marks dishes that contain gluten or are possibly cross-contaminated. So many great choices! I and one of our children have celiac, and the whole family was happy! We will be back for sure!

Gotta love a place with a menu that points out the few items WITH gluten instead of the few that are GF! So, lots of choices at all price points. The runner who brought out our food has celiac, and he said they take care to avoid CC, so he eats there all the time with no issues. We didn't have any either. Bonus: it's very family friendly with lots of kids' menu options (and they can make any of them GF if you let the server know about food "allergies" when ordering), and there's a kids corner with toys, books, and colors. Food was good, service was good, wait to get in was >20 mins for Sunday lunch, normal for a good Austin place at that time. Can't wait to go back for more of those smoky salsas.

So delicious. Very celiac friendly. As they are brand new they do not yet have a gluten free fryer but the do have outsourced tortilla chips for those that have issues with cross contamination. The menu marks all the items that contain gluten rather than the usual gluten free labeled items. It's a pleasure to see that most items are safe rather than the discouraging few items labeled gluten free. Also the bar manager's delicious drink menu contains some super yummy drinks that you don't find other places. This restaurant has an original, innovative menu that is full of scrumptious delicacies!Go!!!
