My waitress was amazing! She was more than accommodating! I had clams casino and a special, and she made sure to bring me extra GF rolls, and gave me some to bring home with my leftovers. They’re very knowledgeable, friendly and have no problem asking the chef if they’re not sure about a specific question. I will be a regular there for sure!

Wow! They can make everything on the menu gluten free, except pasta with stuffing or burgers/sandwiches since they don’t have GF buns/bread. I got chicken parmesan and pasta which was amazing. They also made fresh GF rolls too!

I have Celiac Disease and I’m extremely sensitive to gluten. After reading the reviews, I ate here today, and I’m really sick. I had chicken alfredo with penne and the gluten free dinner rolls they served. The serve ensured me that there wouldn’t be any cross contamination, but by my reaction, there definitely was. It’s really upsetting because my non gluten free friends enjoyed their meals very much and I hoped to come here again.

They are by far the best restaurant in central CT to go to. They accommodate your every need and even serve fresh gluten free bread. They don't have a gluten free menu because you can get everything on the menu gluten free....the chef makes it fresh!! highly recommended!!! they also have great lunch portions for great prices!

From out of town and the only way I found it was this app. Best thing I've had since I've gone gluten free. Freshly baked gluten free rolls to dessert. Even my very picky non-gluten free husband loved his meal.

Fantastic restaurant! I was so impressed by their GF rolls and choice of several GF Italian entrees. I had the chicken parmesan and it was excellent! Made with GF breadcrumbs and served with a side of GF pasta. My boyfriend, who does not have celiacs, also really enjoyed his meal.

Super GF Veal Parm and side dish of penne. Their sister restaurant, Algarve is very good as well. I don't know how the desserts are. I'm always too stuffed and I usually only eat half. Big portions.

Elizabeth's is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, irregardless of my intolerance to gluten. I also have to avoid casein and they have always been extremely accommodating. Fried calimari, chicken parm, eggplant parm and my favorite - chicken francaise ! I don't care for pasta - never a problem to swap out roared potatoes and vegetable of the day. Amazing meals for everyone in our group - with or without gluten. We have never been disappointed.

Wonderful discovery!

Authentic old Italian menu, all of which is available gluten free except the sandwiches and the ravioli.

I had veal parmesan with pasta.

My meal came with a salad and a generous basket of tasty little bitty gf rolls, piping hot and served with a a trio of dipping sauces and butter.

The gf pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was bright and rich.

The veal though - a slice of heaven!

The gf breading was crispy and perfect, the veal melted in my mouth and the sauce and cheeses were nicely balanced.

Absolutely wonderful experience!

The food here is excellent and there are many gluten free options, almost the entire menu. However, the hostess was so rude i am not sure I will ever return. I came in for lunch and was seated by the host. She immediately returned with a basket of bread. I asked if I could please have some gluten free bread that I heard they serve. She rudely said I should have told her I was dining gluten free before I sat down because now she wasted a whole basket of regular bread. I told her my mom would be having the regular bread and she responded that it didn't matter she still wasted it because only one person would eat it. I said I had never been here before and she said any time I go into a restaurant I should always tell the host I'm gluten free and then she huffed and hurried off. I was dumbfounded and appalled. I am not sure why I even stayed for the meal.... I wish I had left. First off neither of us asked for bread, it was brought to us automatically after we were seated. Secondly, I don't choose to be gluten free, and a restaurant that boasts being gluten free friendly should not act like it is such an issue and a burden. I've never been told I've "wasted" anything or that I should announce that I am gluten free before sitting down. I was offended and embarrassed. The food was good but that attitude was enough to keep me away for good.

This has been one of my favorite GF restaurants for years now! They are the MOST accommodating place whether you have any food allergy or just don't like a certain veggie! All of there dishes are fresh and made to order. Being Italian, I found it extremely difficult to not eat bread, pasta, or even chicken parm but thanks to Elizabeth's I've been able to have these favorites without lower my standards for taste one bit! I recommend this restaurant without hesitation to anyone GF or otherwise.
