Knowledgeable staff but the options are not great. Apparently they use a gluten rub on the steaks and their Caesar could contain gluten. I had a grilled chicken salad with no croutons and a Parmesan vinaigrette dressing instead of the Caesar. Did the trick and didn’t get sick.

I was just told that the not gluten free seasoning they put on the steak they put on just about everything, and it's all over the kitchen and grill. We have to leave. Can't eat here at all. Not celiac friendly in any way. So sad.

Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac. Immediately asked me if I was celiac, provided gf menu, and was very attentive to my needs. I had a lettuce wrap burger which was excellent. Didn’t get sick!

I had heard great things about Elways at the airport so decided to try during a layover while waiting for a delayed flight. They do have a gluten free menu and the waitress was extremely helpful and understood celiac and gluten free very well. That’s where good ended. The prime rib had a crust that contained bread crumbs and wheat. The steak rub had gluten so if you wanted a steak it had to come unseasoned. The rack of lamb had a rosemary crust that had gluten in it. The French fries were cooked in a fryer with contaminants. There was no gluten free bread and no gluten free buns for burgers. This left a very small choice unless you wanted a steak with no seasonings. I was surprised that the chefs had not made more effort to make their rubs and crusts gluten free - its very easy to do! Or even obtain gluten free bread or buns. Many restaurants that charge much less for their food have made much more effort to meet the needs of their gluten-free customers. Overall very disappointed!

After a long and stressful day at the airport my father and I (both celiac) saw Elway’s listed on the app. Although we never saw a gluten free menu, our waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating, going back to the kitchen several times to ask questions of the chef. All staff seemed relatively knowledgeable. My father ordered a burger with no bun (they don’t have gluten free bread or bun options) and I had the mozzarella beet salad. We also had sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes. My father rated his burger a 4/5 star meal, my beet salad was about average. The beets were good but the mozzarella was a strange texture. Potatoes were delicious. I rated this four stars because for airport fare it was satisfying and filling and they were extremely accommodating to our celiac needs, but they were not able to confirm that any grilled items would be uncontaminated due to bread etc in the grill. However they offered to pan sear my father’s burger separately and he enjoyed it. They were willing and able to alter nearly any dish on the menu to make it gf. Overall an enjoyable experience and great for celiac needs.
