Late writing this review as we went back on NYE- even with it being insanely busy it was a completely safe experience. Staff know what’s up and have a way of marking gluten free needs in their handheld devices for taking orders. The food we got was so tasty and the cocktails were out of this world. I don’t live in Philly anymore but intend on coming here whenever I’m back in town. They also are able to accommodate big groups as they have larger tables and even small separate rooms in the back. Recommend getting a reservation for this spot!

AMAZING FOOD!!! Hadn’t had battered chicken dishes in so long, and they have great ways of keeping it safe. The sesame chicken was amazing! It was so delicious, and I wish I could come back all the time!

So many options we can’t normally have (battered chicken dishes, desserts) and felt super safe. Ordering delivery through their website they even have an option to mark dishes to be made gluten free. Would definitely go back!

Update: Been here 3 times now and never had an issue. Although it is always very busy but they keep GF very safe.

Amazing food and super knowledgeable staff! They were able to make everything at our table (we ordered family style) gluten free minus the dumplings.

Delicious food and my partner (celiac) had no problems. Make a reservation - they are busy!! Also, wait for a waiter to check in with you and order through them and not the online ordering app at the table - that way you can double check things. They were super accommodating and also didn’t mind us double checking everything. Huge portions and very reasonable pricing!

Amazing! I’m celiac and haven’t gotten to experience Chinese food in a while. General Tso’s chicken! My favorite, and it might have been the best General Tso’s chicken I ever had?? Heck yeah!

If ordering for delivery you can see which items can be made gluten free and easily select “make gluten free.”

Also got gluten free Dan Dan noodles with pork. Delicious.

This place is very delicious and the menu is very clearly marked for gf. i ate delivery from here two nights ago and felt fine the next day but then i ate the leftovers for lunch and dinner yesterday and have woken up with some symptoms today. I definitely feel glutened now although a mild and not horrible case. So maybe its safe for me in small quantities but not repeatedly? I didn’t call to check if their fried stuff is in a separate fryer or other cross contamination questions and probably should have been more careful. I had the kung pao chicken, mapo tofu, dandan noodles, and woodear mushroom and squash. I enjoyed the food a lot! I am not terribly sick but having a small reaction to it after 2 days.

Server took celiac seriously and went and spoke to the kitchen directly about our order, as well as providing a specific GF menu. Many of the dishes are already GF here, and so many more can be made GF. Really wonderful food and experience. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful from start to finish. All GF items are marked clearly, which is next to impossible to find in Chinatown. Don’t let the Szechuan moniker scare you aware if you’re scared of spice, as they’ll modify dishes for you. We thoroughly enjoyed all our food and plan to make it our go to Chinese spot - it is worth the drive.
