EmJ waffles are my most frequent craving. I’ve always had safe and delicious food here.

The GF cinnamon roll pancake was amazing. Hubby had la vida loco French toast and loved it. We were traveling and came 2 days in a row.

This place is so awesome! I was a little hesitant if they had gluten free options because I couldn’t find GF markings in their online menu but after seeing some reviews mentioning GF food, I decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did! Their menu had everything labeled and they also had their specials listed as GF available (for a small surcharge). Their staff seemed very knowledgeable about celiac and I felt very confident I wouldn’t get sick. I can’t recommend this place enough!

They knew their GF stuff and the food was delicious! Friendly servers and a terrific spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!

The possibility of cross contamination is high. The server let us know that the french toast and pancakes are cooked on the same griddle top as the glutened ones. Also, the waffle maker is shared so again cross contamination is likely. So that limits your options quickly.
After consulting with the staff I went with a Benedict- they said thats the safest since they do have a dedicated toaster. I got the salmon Benedict and it was so good! The potatoes that come with it were even better. I did not get sick but was a little bummed that the many gf options aren’t safe for celiac thats why 3 stars

All the pancakes and waffles and French toast you can get gluten free, as well as omelettes, eggs and a variety of bread (that I haven’t tried yet). The chunky monkey waffle was fast family favorite and I love the lemon swirl pancakes. The staff is super helpful and easy to talk to. They don’t shy away from gluten free conversation which is so nice. They come off to me as confident and competent which is really the most I feel I can ask for. They offer curbside pickup which is so simple and convenient. I really feel like we’ve found our new spot.

Updating my review - four hours after eating, got a migraine and a mouth blister. Could be unrelated, but this is the only thing I ate that could link back to being glutened... migraine aside, I usually only get mouth sores when glutened, which is disappointing because it tasted so good!

Got the gluten free waffles at lunchtime since waffles are something you rarely see gluten free AND celiac friendly - the giant belgian waffle that came out was amazing!
The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had so many options, it made it difficult to decide what to get! The cinnamon pancakes were delicious, and I felt great after. Celiac friendly, and will definitely be going back soon.

Our area is out of power, so the restaurant was extremely busy. The staff handled the chaos tremendously and service did not suffer. Gluten free pancakes and waffles were amazing!

My 4th time at this cafe & very, very disappointed!!!!!!! We had a new waitress, she didn't really know what Celiac or gluten free was. I was very adement about having an allergy to gluten. My meal came out, tasted like old greasy oil. Horrible! 15 minutes to 1/2 hr I began to have terrible pain in my stomach, vomiting & if your Celiac you know the rest. 👎👎😝😣🤢😠

I love emjs. They have the best gluten free breakfast options - pancakes, waffles, and French toast. I'm so happy they're in the neighborhood.

Despite their efforts to avoid cross contamination, I was sick after eating at EmJ's April 27. The server notified the cook that I needed gluten free because of Celiac. Unfortunately, I'm still in pain three days later. The food was good, just not free of gluten.

Great breakfast stop! My fiancé and I went here and had the best experience. They were out of gf bread but our fabulous server Amanda gave me a gf English muffin. Will be back to try pancakes! Amanda was knowledgeable and totally pleasant to talk to. Recommended to everyone!
Ate breakfast here, great selection of GF options. I had an omelette with Turkey sausage with potatoes and GF bread. it was great. They have a big board up on the wall with all of the gluten free options, plus there were items noted on the menu. Very GF friendly, highly recommended.
