I didn't end up ordering from here, which was disappointing because the other reviews were so positive! When I talked to the cashier, they told me that all the empanadas were fried in the same fryer and that it was not safe for people with allergies. They did offer to BAKE the empanadas to avoid cross-contamination.
My husband also has a soy allergy, and they said that they didn't know what type of oil they used or if allergens were present in their sauces/other ingredients.

Stopped here for lunch. Not a lot of options, but they do have several options marked on the menu. The food was delicious, but the empanadas are small so make sure you order enough to fill you!

They have GF noted on menu for gluten free dishes. We had the Colombian Cheese and Potato & Pabellon empanadas, and both were so delicious. The Steak Arepa was the best we've ever had! The staff was super friendly and helpful in choosing dishes, and the service was spectacular. Highly recommend and will be a regular here.

The staff is very knowledgeable. Get the fried cheese! It's in a dedicated fryer and soooo good!
The arepas are honestly a 4/5 (try Arepa Culture in Raleigh instead!), but next time I plan to try other things on their menu!

The shredded pork arepa was sooooo good!!! I was here several months ago and had to come back to leave a review. I didn't have a reaction.

My Spanish speaking husband confirmed that they’re fryer is fine. They now have gf markers in their menu. The arepas were delicious!

We just moved to the area and are looking for GF options. We stopped in here one night. When I asked about GF, I was told the Colombian Empanadas were safe but the staff was not sure about the arepas. Being cautious, I tried the Colombian option. It was delicious and I did NOT get sick. I will be back for more!

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The owner showed me the flour they use to make the empanadas and it is gluten free. I’ve never had an arepa so full of meat…and it was only $3!
They have two ‘Colombia’ arepas that are GF, beef and potato, and cheese and potato. Do check that it’s a dedicated fryer if you’re celiac. Very tasty!
