While on a trip to Louisville, I saw the Feast BBQ on my app. it wasn't located too far from The Brown Hotel, where I was staying. They are a BBQ and smoked meats restaurant. This is an extremely popular restaurant with lines out the door. Seating both inside and on the sidewalk. It's not exactly easy to spot the sign on the store front, but look for a long line on the sidewalk and you can find parking to the right of the building on the left side of the street. The food was GREAT. Their menu has the GF items identified with dots. There are plenty of choices, other than sandwiches. Let the cashiers know you are GF and they will make sure you get what you need. I got a 2-meat platter with chopped chicken and .25 lb of chopped pork. Also had their GF potato salad and vinegar slaw...I wasn't really impressed with the potato salad, but the slaw was very good. I'd probably try their beans on the next trip to Louisville. The servings were almost too much for me to eat. The only negative I'd give Feast is there BBQ sauces were not as tasty as I've had from other GF BBQ restaurants I've eat at, but this is definitely a repeat for my next Louisville trip. My Celiac presents itself as blisters/sores in the mouth, which take 48-72 hours to appear after eating contaminated food. Within that time frame I experienced no problems, which is why I didn't add my review until after that time was up.
