I went there a few weeks ago and had a great meal. It's so rare to be able to get French fries in public because they are always in shared oil. But not at Filo's!!! I indulged and had the Athenian truffle fries and a side of the gigante beans, which I love. Everything was delicious. When I ordered, I asked about the fryer and told them I had celiac, (they asked "gluten allergy" and I said yes...). They wrote a big red "gf allergy" on my order and I was all set. My husband, not gf, also loved his food and we are excited to go back.

my girlfriend and i love it here! myself, gluten intolerant, and my girlfriend, celiac, have been here many times and its the best!! we have gotten the chicken souvlaki on gluten free pita each time and i have had the grape leaves as well. super great understanding, we were immediately asked if it was an allergy, to which they circled in red. the way the restaurant is set up is such that you can see the workers making the food. the food is prepared all in one area but i watched the chef person change his gloves and used something (my assumption some sort of food-wrapping paper). we have been here many times and my severely symptomatic gf who gets sick if gluten so much as touches her mouth has never had an issue. the only issue would be eating too much because its that good!!! definitely recommend for anyone in the northampton area

Saw this as a possible good option on this App and decided to check it out… winner!! I will be back! I had a chicken souvlaki wrap- chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and French fries wrapped together and smothered in tzatziki sauce! YUM the fries are GF and fried in their own fryer so they are safe. I also ordered grape leaves and hummus on the side with gluten free pita bread (more like a Gf wrap cut in triangles and grilled- but it worked!!!)… my food was DELICIOUS and I saw several other options I want to try! They had Gf falafel and GF pizza too- yummy little mom and pop spot!!

Food here is so delicious! It's not many places you can find GF falafel and pita. I love their wraps so much and the fry servings are generous and delicious. Highly recommend! If you tell them it's a gluten allergy, they make sure to mark your order as such.

Food was fair; fresh but nothing spectacular at all. The gyro wrap had French fries in it, which was weird. The small salad was extremely small. The disposable serving dishes/salad bowls were too small, making it hard to eat. The green beans app was tasteless. The decor is very old and dirty. Northampton has a LOT of options; this one is off my list.

They were prepared and knowledgeable about celiacs and avoiding cross contamination. The food was good particularly the fries and I did not have a reaction!

I only had the fries here. They were pretty good and didn’t make me sick! Surprisingly enough it’s hard to find gf fries in Northampton and in general, so this is really nice!!!

The gluten-free chicken souvlaki wrap and gluten-free falafel wrap are delicious. The fries are really good too--not all of the fries with toppings are gluten-free-- the original and Athenian truffle fries are my favorites. They have a gluten-free rice side to go with the platters, which I also recommend. The service has been good each time I've been there. Glad I found this place a few years ago.

Not sure what happened to Kaye, but I just called and they confirmed that they have a dedicated gluten free fryer. Always great for falafel and other yummy food!

I used to love going here. I don't live in Northampton and only go up occasionally, so I always ask if they still use a gluten-free fryer because I know restaurants change themselves around all the time. The woman at the register said that they now use their french fryer for gluten-containing foods, which is a real bummer because I used to love this place. Back to GF crackers and canned fish for me when I'm in town. :|

Soooo many gluten free options! It’s BYOB and the food is amazing. Order something from the french fry bar!

Gluten free fryer (amazing truffle fries!) and GF pita for gyros too. Staff was helpful and took care to prepare things carefully at my request. Had a great meal and did not get sick.
