As this is a fresh seafood market, they can make you almost anything you want either grilled, steamed or broiled.

This is a tiny little Portuguese seafood and grocery shop, but they will make you practically anything you want either grilled, steamed or broiled for takeout. There is no dedicated fryer, but you can substitute rice, boiled potatoes or veggies as sides.

The first time I called was during COVID. My family wanted fish and chips, so I asked them to just steam 2 lbs of mixed shellfish for me and they did an amazing job asking me what I liked and putting together a meal for me. When I arrived for pickup, the woman preparing my order was kind enough to show me all of my gluten and dairy free options. You can get any of the "fried" dinners grilled or broiled and you can substitute boiled potatoes, rice or veggies for the fries. THey will prepare anything from the fishmarket for you as well.

I recently saw a picture of their Shrimp Mozambique and it looked fantastic, but I know the original recipes often contain butter and/or beer. When I messaged to ask if their recipe was by any chance gluten and dairy free, she informed me that it is always gluten free, and they would be happy to make it dairy free for me as well.

Nothing here is premade and they are very willing to work with you to make you what you want. They also prepare large pans of food that they will either steam for you or for you to cook at home ( the lobster and clam bake for 4 and the crayfish boil looked amazing). I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. It's now become part of our regular rotation.
