Its not safe for celiac. The risk of cross contamination is way too high as every thing is buffet style, they don't clean everything wirh every use, nor do they change gloves. If youre eating here you are putting yourself ar risk, even the website saya its not gluten free they just have gluten free buns.

As long as they put the buns on foil before toasting they are great.. never had a problem and in Guelph they are trained regarding cross contamination.

I’ve been coming here for six months now and they do an excellent job of making sure they clear the line and I don’t get sick. I have celiac disease and their gluten-free options from schar is great. As far as I can tell, the only sub that isn’t safe with the schar bun is that meatball sub. The only thing is often time to gluten-free bread runs out, so I always make sure to call ahead.

We don't have much trouble with cross contamination. The GF buns are fragile, fresh, and tasty. Lot of variety in the fillings. Barring delayed reaction, we will be back. We had the Italian and Engineer subs.

Gluten free bread is delicious!!! Finally a place that had options! They also asked if it was allergy or preference
The sub was really delicious. My 1 star rating has nothing to do with the taste. They offer glutenfree sub from Schär. I watched them prepare and sadly it was definitily not contamination free although they tried. Used the same knife etc. So not for celiac!

No GF options here. They were out of GF bread which seems to be common based on previous reviews. Honestly was so dirty I wouldn’t have ordered anything if the did.
