My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

Waitress told me how things are prepared so I could modify my order. Also had GF menu items.

All dressings are GF. Now offer GF toast (Udi’s) in place of regular toast. I got the potatoes with eggs and avo mash with a side of GF bread. Not sick after!!

Lots of options. Love the chicken salad!
Great food. Waitstaff varies in knowledge so know your stuff before you go.

I was very disappointed with the service and menu here. They recently changed menu items & when I came in with my family for Sunday brunch I was told I needed to get on-line to look up the menu - never offered to print it for me so I wouldn't need to search the web - when my phone wouldn't view the full site and I couldn't see my options they did print me a menu. The options are awful - all dressings contain Gluten as well as all condiments (mayo, ketchup. Etc). Talked to the manager and he was friendly but didn't like my complaint. After tying to read through the menu with me he do ally agreed it was very confusing. I told him this change was in the wrong direction and very frustrating & disappointing. Told him I will not be back until I see a more gluten free friendly menu. Also told him to check out Cap City's GF me and compare. Trying to help them out but think they were more on the defense than really listening.
Care taken. Love new items
There’s an allergen menu that you have to scan on your phone. They have a dedicated GF space in the back (including a toaster). There’s a reasonable amount of stuff to order as long as you get the GF toast. I didn’t experience in cross contamination and the staff seems knowledgeable.

Several decent selections for breakfast/lunch and good safety measures. GF bread/toast available for breakfast or sandwiches, and they said can do gf French toast with it (which we haven’t tried). I asked about butter and they said gf toast always comes no-butter, which made me happy for kitchen safety. Eggs and bacon were good, and lots of gf omelet options. Grain bowls also gf using quinoa.

To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.
