I spoke with a three different people, including the manager to ensure my salad was gluten free. It wasn’t. I got home and smelled soy sauce in the dressing, so I checked the ingredients online, and there was soy sauce and it wasn’t gluten free.

The decor is modern and cute. Great atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. The menu labels some things as gluten free. The server was able to answer questions about menu items not labeled as GF and mentioned that the kitchen is alerted when a celiac/GF order is placed and they take precautions. Udis toast is offered. I had bacon, scrambled eggs and potatoes with Udi toast. The server confirmed that the potatoes are GF. Food came with allergy flag and everything tasted great!

Lots of GF breakfast and lunch options. Food is really good and staff is knowledgeable. There is even GF toast in a separate toaster!

The server told me that they are unsafe for celiacs.
Only had a gluten free "guide", order normal food minus anything gluten containing. no substitutions. Lame.

Variety of GF options available. Was happy to hear that the breakfast potatoes were GF! No GF toast or pancakes available

To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.

My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

They are very considerate when I order gluten free bread for toast and inform them of my allergies. I'm sure other locations might be less kind but this one is great.
Cross contact is possible I'm sure, but I believe they car enough to make some effort

Decent brunch food. Whenever I mention gluten free they know what I'm talking about and seem to be careful. I feel a bit rushed though, they usually give us the check before we're halfway done with the food.
