Highly disappointing that they offer gluten free bread but not French toast. Coffee isn’t good, I would prefer cream from a larger container into small cream cups instead of the individually wrapped ones. Could be good. But even the omelet was bland.

We eat here a lot. We ask each time. Is this gluten free? When they drop it off and sometimes … they bring it back. I wouldn’t say it’s that safe but they do carry gf bread and have several gf dishes. We just check each time, especially if it’s some thing that is normally not gluten-free that they have changed for us.

While the food was great and I did not get sick(I have a severe allergy not celiac) the waitress was AWFUL. She finally came to our table after 30 minutes of waiting, when I said I was gluten free she asked how severe because of the possibility of cross contamination. She. The food was brought out she grabbed the bread off of my plate saying it was the wrong bread and she’d bring out the gluten free. I asked her to bring a fresh plate because there were crumbs all over my food and she proceeded to argue with me that it was just the seasoning.. worst experience I’ve had so far. I’ve heard so many good good things about this place but the waitress ruined my experience.

The waiter was aware of gluten and the menu had a lot of good options for gluten free.

To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.

My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

They are very considerate when I order gluten free bread for toast and inform them of my allergies. I'm sure other locations might be less kind but this one is great.
Cross contact is possible I'm sure, but I believe they car enough to make some effort

Decent brunch food. Whenever I mention gluten free they know what I'm talking about and seem to be careful. I feel a bit rushed though, they usually give us the check before we're halfway done with the food.
