I was a bit concerned at first as the front of house seemed uneducated. We almost walked out but decided to have a conversation with our server who completely put me at ease. She was fully knowledgeable and walked us through all their safety measures with allergies. Really good breakfast!

Just tried First Watch for the first time, to grab takeout lunch. Risky, but I needed to eat. I ordered a power wrap, was expecting it to be on a bed of greens instead of the tortilla. I was pleasantly surprised that they turned it into a gf egg-white power omelet! They wrote “wheat allergy” in red pen on my order slip & it was written on my food container, too. Made me feel like they cared, and not uncomfortable at all. I’ll definitely be back to try more!
To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.

My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

They are very considerate when I order gluten free bread for toast and inform them of my allergies. I'm sure other locations might be less kind but this one is great.
Cross contact is possible I'm sure, but I believe they car enough to make some effort

Decent brunch food. Whenever I mention gluten free they know what I'm talking about and seem to be careful. I feel a bit rushed though, they usually give us the check before we're halfway done with the food.
